Seeds decide how fast your farm scales in Build a Ring Farm. Each one has a fixed base income per harvest, a grow time, and a way to obtain it, and the gap between a starter crop and a top-rarity seed is enormous. The highest-income seeds belong to the Transcended and Exotic tiers, and they get even stronger once you stack a strong mutation on top.

Build a Ring Farm seeds tier list (S to D)
Seeds are ranked here by base income first, then by how easy they are to obtain and how well they scale once mutated. Higher-rarity seeds cost far more or require rare rolls and events, but they pay back quickly because mutations multiply their base income.
| Tier | Seeds |
|---|---|
| S | Garden Golem, Queen Blossom, Ember Fruit, Ghost Pepper, Papaya, Durian, Garden Devourer, Dragonfruit |
| A | Compost Hydra, Crimson Higanbana, Void Fruit, Trucker’s Delight, Heartvine Bloom, Pepper, Striped Starfruit, Passion Fruit, Kiwi |
| B | Horned Melon, Pomegranate, Cocoa, Golden Apple, Diamond Blossom, Rushroot |
| C | Garlic, Pineapple, Blood Orange, Galaxy Hibiscus, Cherry Blossom, Apple, Starfruit, Tomato, Beanstalk, Glowshroom, Strawberry |
| D | Potato, Banana, Mushroom, Amulet Anemone, Mango, Spring Onion, Citrus, Martian Melon, Sunflower, Honeysuckle, Nectarine, Twinflame Tulip, Cauliflower, Corn, Peach |
S-tier seeds: highest base income
These are the endgame crops. Transcended seeds top the income chart, and the best Exotic, Dragonfruit, sits right alongside them. They are expensive or locked behind rare rolls and events, but a single mutated plant here can outperform a whole farm of low-tier crops.
| Seed (Rarity) | Base Income | Grow Time | How to Get |

A-tier seeds: strong income with easier access
Exotic seeds anchor this group, and most are far more reachable than the Transcended rolls. Compost Hydra is a Divine crop that earns more than several Exotics, which is why it sits here. These are the seeds that carry a farm through late game while you hunt for S-tier rolls.
| Seed (Rarity) | Base Income | Grow Time | How to Get |
|---|---|---|---|
Compost Hydra (Divine)![]() | $125K | N/A | Composter |
Crimson Higanbana (Exotic)![]() | $225K | N/A | Robux Shop |
Void Fruit (Exotic)![]() | $180K | 70s | 1 in 284,335,056 Roll |
Trucker’s Delight (Exotic)![]() | $160K | 62s | Trucker Event |
Heartvine Bloom (Exotic)![]() | $150K | N/A | Friend-o-Tron |
Pepper (Exotic)![]() | $140K | 60s | 1 in 142,222,222 Roll |
Striped Starfruit (Exotic)![]() | $130K | N/A | Seed Collector |
Passion Fruit (Exotic)![]() | $120K | 50s | 1 in 1,024,000,000 Roll |
Kiwi (Exotic)![]() | $90K | N/A | Seed Pack |
B-tier seeds: reliable mid-to-late game crops
Divine seeds make up most of this tier, along with the event-only Prismatic Rushroot. None of them match the income ceiling above, but they are realistic to roll or unlock and they hold up well once mutated. Use them to fill plots while you push toward Exotic and Transcended rolls.
| Seed (Rarity) | Base Income | Grow Time | How to Get |
|---|---|---|---|
Rushroot (Prismatic)![]() | $90K | N/A | Plant Rush Event |
Horned Melon (Divine)![]() | $80K | N/A | Machine / Trucker |
Pomegranate (Divine)![]() | $75K | 55s | Seed Pack |
Cocoa (Divine)![]() | $70K | N/A | Roll |
Golden Apple (Divine)![]() | $65K | 56s | 1 in 42,650,258 Roll |
Diamond Blossom (Divine)![]() | $55K | 58s | Seed Collector |
C-tier seeds: early progression picks
Prismatic and Secret crops sit here. They are affordable and roll often enough to plant in bulk, which makes them good for building your first real cash flow. Plan to replace them once Divine or Exotic seeds become available.
| Seed (Rarity) | Base Income | Grow Time | How to Get |
|---|---|---|---|
Garlic (Prismatic)![]() | $50K | N/A | Roll |

Beanstalk (Secret)![]() | $9K | 40s | 1 in 2,560,000 Roll |
Glowshroom (Secret)![]() | $8K | 38s | 5% Seed Pack |
Strawberry (Secret)![]() | $6K | 35s | 1 in 1,200,000 Roll |
D-tier seeds: starter crops to replace fast
Legendary, Epic, and Rare seeds are your opening cash. They grow quickly and roll easily, so they get you off the ground, but their base income falls far behind everything above. Sell and reroll aggressively rather than leaving these planted once you can afford better.
| Seed (Rarity) | Base Income | Grow Time | How to Get |
|---|---|---|---|
Potato (Legendary)![]() | $2.7K | N/A | Roll |

How to get seeds in Build a Ring Farm
Most seeds come from rolling at the seed machine with in-game cash. Common rarities appear often, while Legendary, Exotic, and Transcended seeds sit behind very long odds, some at one in trillions per roll. Higher Seed Luck improves those odds, so it is one of the first upgrades worth maxing.
Several top seeds skip the roll table entirely. Garden Devourer and Compost Hydra come from the Composter, Queen Blossom drops from the Queen Bee Event, and Crimson Higanbana is a Robux Shop purchase. Seed Packs from codes, events, and the shop also raise your chance at better rarities. Acid Spray clears an unwanted mutation for $1M so you can reapply a stronger one on an elite plant.
Best seeds to plant by stage
Seed value scales hardest when you pair a high base income crop with a strong mutation. Honeycomb (6.5x) from the Queen Bee Event and Rainbow (5x) from the Galaxy Event are the two highest multipliers, so save them for your best plants. A plant can only hold one mutation at a time, and mutations only progress while you are actively playing.
| Stage | Seeds to plant | Mutation goal |
|---|---|---|
| Early game | Epic and Secret crops like Cauliflower, Glowshroom, and Strawberry | Wet (1.5x) or Frozen (1.75x) when available |
| Mid game | Prismatic and Divine crops like Cherry Blossom, Golden Apple, and Cocoa | Radioactive (3x) or Alien (3.25x) |
| Late game | Exotic and Transcended crops like Dragonfruit, Void Fruit, and Garden Golem | Honeycomb (6.5x) or Rainbow (5x) on top plants |
If you are chasing one seed first, target the Composter crops and Seed Pack drops before grinding the trillion-to-one rolls, since they deliver Divine and Exotic income without relying purely on luck. Once your farm can sustain rolls and events, build a full plot of Transcended or Exotic seeds and stack a single premium mutation on your highest-value plant to push income into the exponential range.
