Build the Pyramid: How to Get More Speed and Strength

Where to train each stat, how to claim the free +1,500 boost, and which gyms unlock at every pyramid count.

Where to train each stat, how to claim the free +1,500 boost, and which gyms unlock at every pyramid count.

Speed and Strength are the two stats that decide how fast you finish runs in Build the Pyramid, the cooperative simulator by Janitors Studios. Speed sets your walk speed between the quarry and the build site, and Strength sets how many blocks you can carry per trip. Both are raised the same way, by using gym equipment, and both can be jump-started with a one-time free reward.

Quick answer: Train Speed on the treadmill and Strength on the bench press in the FREE gym, claim the Free Gift for +1,500 of each, then always train in the highest multiplier gym your pyramid count has unlocked.

What Speed and Strength change

Each stat maps to one part of the delivery loop, so raising them has a direct, measurable effect on how many blocks you move per minute.

  • Speed increases your walk speed, cutting travel time on every trip between the quarry and the pyramid.
  • Strength increases your carrying capacity, so you haul more blocks in a single run (for example, from a 0/4 capacity up to 0/8 and beyond).

Strength and the coin-bought Bulk Pickup upgrade are separate systems. Strength sets your total carrying capacity, while Bulk Pickup only changes how many blocks you grab per pickup action.

Train Speed and Strength at the FREE gym

The starter equipment costs nothing and is available the moment you spawn. Every rep at these stations grants +1 to the matching stat, and you can move between the two freely.

Head to the gym area on the desert map and find the pads labeled FREE. This is the base 1x training zone that every player can use from the start.
Step onto the treadmill track. Your character runs automatically and Speed climbs, with a “Speed Level Up!” message appearing each time you gain a level.

Move to the adjacent bench press pad and interact with it to lift weights. Strength rises with each rep, shown by the “Strength Level Up!” prompt.

Alternate between the two stations to build both stats in one visit. The treadmill and bench sit side by side, so you can swap back and forth without leaving the gym.

Claim the Free Gift for +1,500 Speed and Strength

The fastest early boost is a one-time reward that grants 1,500 Speed and 1,500 Strength together. It costs nothing beyond a few taps and is separate from redeeming codes.

Open the FREE GIFT! sign near spawn to see its three requirements.
Like the game, favorite the game, then join the developer community, Janitors Studios on Roblox.
Return to the gift panel and press Claim to bank the boost.

Joining the group can fail with “You have joined the maximum number of communities.” If that happens, leave a community you no longer need, then join Janitors Studios and claim again.

Unlock higher multiplier gyms by completing pyramids

The FREE stations give +1 per rep, but stronger zones multiply that gain. A single rep in a 50x zone takes the same time as one in the base gym while giving 50 times the stat, so you should always train in the highest zone you can reach. Each tier unlocks after a set number of completed pyramids, and every completed pyramid takes 171,700 blocks contributed by the whole server.

Gym passes are not required. A pass for 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, or 50x gives access to that named gym without meeting the normal pyramid-completion count; the Admin Gym has a separate pass.

Train inside a finished pyramid at the Waters of Nu

Once your server completes a pyramid, you can enter the structure to train. Look for the entrance marked 2X TRAINING INSIDE. The Waters of Nu is inside, training Speed and Strength at double rate. Bath pools inside also give short-lived stat multiplier buffs, and the pyramid resets afterward, so go in right after completion to use the available time.

Codes that add Speed and Strength

Codes are the other free source of stats. To redeem, launch the game on Roblox, open the codes menu, type the code exactly, and hit redeem. Availability changes often, so treat these as reported and check them in game.

How to confirm your stats went up

You will know training worked by watching the left HUD and the floating text. The lightning icon shows your Speed value alongside “Walk Speed”, and the flexed-arm icon shows your Strength alongside “Capacity”. A “Speed Level Up!” or “Strength Level Up!” message pops above your character each time a level clears. After claiming the Free Gift or a code, the matching numbers jump immediately, and your next run should feel faster or let you carry more blocks per trip.
