Capybaras VS Plants Update 10: What’s New & Next Update Countdown
Capybaras VS Plants pairs a numbered content drop with an Admin Abuse session every couple of weeks, and the current pairing on the schedule is Update 10 + AA. The plants-versus-capybaras defense game has grown into one of Roblox’s busy weekend rooms, with about 840,000 favorites, about 59,000,000 lifetime visits, and about 1,700 players in a server at a typical moment.
The rhythm is steady: a new numbered update arrives alongside another round of Admin Abuse, so this guide stays pointed at the next drop rather than any one run. Update 10 is the current version, and the next start time and countdown sit on the card below.

How often updates land
Updates land on a every two weeks cadence, with each drop opening on a Saturday morning. The game has run this pairing 3 times so far. It has opened at two closely spaced Saturday-morning slots — 9:30 AM ET and 10:00 AM ET — so both are listed here across the major regions, letting players everywhere line up whichever matches their week.
| Region | 9:30 AM ET slot | 10:00 AM ET slot |
|---|---|---|
| US East (ET) | 9:30 AM Sat | 10:00 AM Sat |
| US Pacific (PT) | 6:30 AM Sat | 7:00 AM Sat |
| UK | 2:30 PM Sat | 3:00 PM Sat |
| Central Europe | 3:30 PM Sat | 4:00 PM Sat |
| India | 7:00 PM Sat | 7:30 PM Sat |
| Japan | 10:30 PM Sat | 11:00 PM Sat |
| Eastern Australia | 12:30 AM Sun | 1:00 AM Sun |
The next update is expected on Saturday, October 24 at 9:30 AM ET. The developer hasn’t posted the next date yet, so that is our best estimate from the game’s usual rhythm, and we confirm it once it’s announced. Local times shift by an hour or so around daylight-saving changes, but the Saturday-morning ET anchor holds from cycle to cycle.
What’s in Update 10 + AA
Each drop bundles two things. The first is the numbered content update — new material added to the game for that cycle. The second is the Admin Abuse portion, the “AA” in the name. The full specifics for Update 10 haven’t been detailed yet, but the shape of the event stays consistent:
- The update: fresh content that goes live when the session opens, the reason regulars treat the drop as the cycle’s main event.
- Admin Abuse: a hosted session where the game’s admins turn their powers loose in the server for chaotic, unscripted fun — the running theme across this game’s lineup.
- One shared window: both pieces open together on Saturday morning, so there’s a single stretch to be there for, give or take the two listed slots.
Tips for catching it
- Line up the Saturday slots against your own region using the table above — morning for the Americas, afternoon and evening across Europe and India, late night into Sunday for Japan and Australia.
- Set a reminder for a few minutes before the start so you’re in a server as the update opens and the admins get going.
- If you miss a cycle, nothing is lost for long — the pairing comes back around two weeks later, and the card above always points to the next one.
How it fits the game’s rhythm
Admin Abuse is the through-line of Capybaras VS Plants’ event calendar. The game has also run midweek Admin Abuse sessions and seasonal events like its Halloween rounds and a Season 2 content push, but the roughly biweekly numbered update is the anchor players plan around. If you enjoy the AA half of Update 10, that admin-driven chaos is what ties the whole lineup together.
