The Warrior is one of the Arcana cards Rose collects in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and it sits at the very top of the Prison Tower in Paris Streets. Claiming it hands you the Infernal Pyre spell and the Holy Light skill, both tied to the card’s character, Joan. Getting there is a vertical climb up the tower’s exterior, through an elevator, and across its roof.

Quick answer: Start at the Prison Tower in Paris Streets, just above the Mirror of Life. Climb the exterior to the elevator, ride it to the Upper Tower, cross the Roof of the Tower, scale into the top chamber, and absorb the golden orb left after the encounter.

Where The Warrior Arcana is located

The card is on the Roof of the Tower in Paris Streets; enter through the Prison Tower sub-area. On the map, Holy Innocents’ Cemetery is west of the card, while the fast-travel point named Mirror of Life lies directly below it. Begin at that save room for the simplest route. Two discoveries can direct you here beforehand: a Burned District hint places The Warrior at the Tower’s summit, and the Upper Tower holds a Carpenter’s Crane Sketch.

How to reach the top of the Prison Tower

From the Prison Tower exterior platform, head left across the wooden scaffolding and rooftops. Use the glowing grapple points and wall jumps to work your way upward until you reach the open elevator shaft.

For 80 mana, Infernal Pyre spreads flames across the ground around Rose, setting enemies alight and hurling them upward. The card also teaches Holy Light: hold its button to form a halo that scatters the Chaos Shard. Activate it just before an incoming blow connects to perform a light-based parry and avoid all damage.

Joan appears again later for a rematch in Notre-Dame’s Courage of Gabriel room. Defeating her grants Rose the virtue of Courage.

Confirming you unlocked it

You know the pickup worked when the trophy “Flammable or inflammable?” pops as The Warrior fades into light. Interacting with the golden orb then adds The Warrior to your Tarot deck and unlocks the Infernal Pyre spell, which you can inspect and hold to equip from the spell menu. Once it appears there, the Arcana is yours and the climb is complete.
