Catch 1 Billion Ducks: How to Complete Days Fast and Farm Feathers

Skip straight to each boss, prioritize the right upgrades, and clear early days in minutes.

Skip straight to each boss, prioritize the right upgrades, and clear early days in minutes.

The fastest way to clear days in Catch 1 Billion Ducks is to skip the regular duck wave and fight the boss directly, then pour your cash into weapon damage so each boss dies quickly. This shortens every day to a single boss fight and keeps feathers flowing at a steady pace.

Quick answer: When the skip prompt appears, press Y (or V) to vote skip. Once the day is skipped, the boss spawns immediately. Kill it with a damage-focused weapon to advance to the next day.

Skip the day to reach the boss

Each day has a normal duck wave followed by a boss. You do not need to grind the full wave. A voting prompt lets you jump straight to the boss, which is where the real cash and feather rewards come from.

Play the opening moments of the day and store a few ducks in the Freezer so you have starting cash. Press E at the purple freezer chest to store, then open it to sell.
Watch for the skip prompt. When “SKIP DAY? VOTE PRESS ‘Y’ KEY” appears, press Y to vote skip. The screen confirms with “Day skipped successfully.”

The boss spawns right after the skip. On Day 1 this is the Scary Duck with 150 HP. Focus fire on it while your dog retrieves fallen ducks.

You know the skip worked when the “Day skipped successfully” message shows and the boss health bar appears in place of the regular wave.

Prioritize Damage and Pellet Count upgrades

The weapon has a large hitbox, so precise aiming is not required. Aim at the center of a group of ducks and a single shot can hit several at once. This matters because your early cash should go into raw firepower, not accuracy.

Two weapon stats carry the early game. Damage lowers the number of shots each boss takes, and Pellet Count adds more rounds per shot so you clear ducks and bosses faster. Reload Speed is a lower priority early on.

Weapon upgradeEffectPriority
Damage10 → 15 damage per shot (scales higher with more spending)Highest
Pellet count1 → 2 rounds per shotHigh
Reload Speed1.50 → 1.49 secondsLow early

Note: You can open the upgrade menu mid-fight, sell your stored ducks for quick cash, and buy a Damage boost during a boss battle. On the Devil Duck (700 HP), jumping Damage from 15 to 48 and then to 77 cuts the fight down fast.

Upgrade your dog after the first boss

Your dog, Jeff, retrieves fallen ducks so you can sell them for more cash. Once you clear the first boss, spend on the dog to speed up collection. Start with Dexterity, then buy the cheap stats.

Dog upgradeWhat it does
DexterityFirst dog upgrade to buy after the first boss
SpeedWalk speed 16 → 100 for faster retrieval
CapacityCarry 1 → 2 ducks per trip

After the dog is handled, put any leftover cash back into weapon Damage. Faster retrieval plus higher damage feeds a loop where each day ends quicker than the last.

Boss HP and rewards by day

Boss health climbs sharply each day, so your Damage needs to keep pace. Rewards in cash and feathers also grow, which pays for the next round of upgrades. Use this to plan how much to spend before each fight.

DayBossHPReward
1Scary Duck150$600 + 10 Feathers
2Devil Duck700$1,200 + 4 Feathers
3Angry Mallard Duck1,400$2,400 + 10 Feathers
4Possessed Mallard Duck2,600$4,500 + 11 Feathers

Each new day also raises duck spawn rate and duck luck, and unlocks a new species such as Colored, Rouen, and Wigeon ducks. More ducks on screen means more to sell, so keep depositing into the Freezer between shots to free up inventory space.

Why days sometimes stall

If a boss is taking too long, your Damage is behind the boss HP curve. Sell ducks mid-fight and buy Damage instead of trying to out-shoot the boss with the current weapon. If the skip does not trigger, the vote prompt has not appeared yet, so wait for it and press Y when it shows.

Running the loop tight, skip to the boss, spend on Damage first, keep Jeff collecting, clears the opening days in minutes and builds a steady feather income for later runs.
