Starry Night’s Whispers returns in Phase 1 of Luna VIII, with exact server times and the full four-star lineup.

Citlali, the 5-star Cryo Catalyst support from Natlan, returns for her rerun in the first half of Genshin Impact Version 6.7 Luna VIII. Her Event Wish, Starry Night’s Whispers, runs at the same time as Sandrone’s debut banner, so the same release moment applies to both.

Quick answer: Citlali’s rerun banner goes live on July 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM (UTC+8). The Event Wish unlocks at the same instant worldwide, and your local clock time depends on your server region.

Citlali banner release time by server

Version 6.7 Luna VIII launches right after Version 6.6 Phase 2 ends. The update goes live once server maintenance finishes, and the Citlali rerun appears in the Wish menu at that moment. Here is when the banner opens for each region.

The banner closes on July 21, 2026, when Phase 2 begins with the Columbina and Raiden Shogun reruns. That gives you a full three-week window to pull on Citlali before she leaves the rotation.

How to confirm the banner is live

After maintenance ends and the client updates, open the Wish menu in-game. The Starry Night’s Whispers banner showing Citlali as the rate-up 5-star confirms the rerun is active. If you still see the previous version’s banners, the client has not finished updating, so restart the game and apply any pending download.

Note: Citlali’s banner runs as a paired Event Wish with Sandrone’s, and the two share a single pity counter. If your first 5-star on this dual banner is the non-featured 50/50 result on Sandrone’s side, your next 5-star on Citlali’s banner is guaranteed to be Citlali. Wishes also carry over to the Phase 2 character banners.

Three four-star characters get a rate-up alongside Citlali during Phase 1. The first time you pull a four-star, there is a 50% chance it is one of these three; if it is not, your next four-star is guaranteed to be one of them.

Phase 1 weapon banner

The Epitome Invocation weapon banner runs across the same dates, July 1 to July 21, 2026. It features two 5-star weapons and a set of 4-star weapons.

Starcaller’s Watch is Citlali’s signature catalyst, while A Teaspoon of Transcendence is the new 5-star claymore built for Sandrone. Both are tuned to push their respective characters’ kits, so the weapon banner pairs directly with the two featured Phase 1 units.

Why pull for Citlali

Citlali generates shields and reduces enemy Pyro and Hydro resistance under certain conditions while dealing AoE Cryo damage. That makes her a strong fit for Freeze and Melt teams and a reliable support next to DPS units like Mavuika, Arlecchino, Neuvillette, and Mualani. If you want another durable Cryo enabler with resistance shred, her rerun is a clean window to grab her.

For Travelers planning around the wider patch, Citlali’s banner is the first of two phases. Once it ends on July 21, the focus shifts to Columbina and Raiden Shogun, so prioritize your wishes early if Citlali is your main target this version.
