Clearing Element Extreme Battle Assault in Anime Story 2 (Roblox)

What to bring and how to push through all ten stages of the element-focused assault mode.

Extreme Battle Assault is one of the tougher challenge modes in Anime Story 2, and the element category runs across ten escalating stages that demand a fully built squad rather than a casual roster. Each stage hits harder than the last, so the run is less about clever tricks and more about raising your Combat Power high enough to survive the spikes.

Quick answer: Equip five high-rarity units (Mythic or Secret first), max their levels, ascend anything Legendary or above, then slot crafted relics and rerolled traits so your Combat Power can carry the later stages. Clear stages in order; each completion unlocks the next.

What you need before starting the assault

You can equip up to five units at once, so the goal is to fill every slot with your strongest options instead of spreading resources thin. Units are the core of the game, and a small number of fully upgraded characters will outperform a wide bench of half-leveled ones.

Prioritize by rarity. Mythic units are the workhorses you will rely on most, and only Secret units rank above them, though those are extremely hard to obtain. Legendary units sit just under Mythic and are worth leveling until you pull better, with names like Levan, Flamingo, Spirit Brawler, and Froza holding up well in the meantime.

PriorityRarityWhat to do
1SecretUse and max if you have one; best performers in the game
2MythicLevel fully and build your team around these
3LegendaryLevel and ascend until a Mythic replaces them
4Rare / EpicSkip heavy investment; ascending these is not worth it

Build up Combat Power before the late stages

Level your single best unit first. Pour in-game currency into your top Mythic or Secret before touching weaker characters, since that one unit will do most of the damage across all ten stages.
Ascend your Legendary and higher units to raise their level cap. Ascension lets them keep scaling past their normal ceiling, which is exactly what the later assault stages punish you for skipping.
Reroll traits and stats on your main units. Better traits and rolled stats directly increase the numbers each unit puts out, so this is where a stalled run usually gets unstuck.
Craft and equip relics. Relics boost specific stats per unit, and stacking them on your damage carry adds the extra margin needed to push through stages where you keep falling just short.
Craft weapons for your units in the Upgrading area of the Lobby. Stronger weapons round out the build and help your squad outpace the difficulty curve in the back half of the run.

Get more Gems to pull better units

High-rarity units come from summoning, and that means Gems. You earn Gems from the story, daily and weekly quests, leveling rewards, and index rewards. Hold them rather than spending on every banner, then summon when a banner features a unit you actually want, since certain units get a higher roll chance depending on the active banner.

Active codes give a quick Gem boost before you start summoning. Redeem them inside the game using the code menu.

How to know a stage cleared

You progress through the ten stages in sequence, and finishing one unlocks the next along with rewards that feed back into upgrading your units. The run is complete once the final stage clears and no further stage is available to enter.

Common reasons a stage will not clear

  • Combat Power is too low because resources were spread across too many units instead of concentrated on your best one.
  • Units have not been ascended, so they hit their level cap and cannot scale into the harder stages.
  • Traits, stats, and relics were skipped, leaving your damage just short of the later thresholds.
  • Time and Gems went into Rare or Epic units that are not worth the long-term investment.

If you stall on a particular stage, go back to the Lobby, push another round of levels or an ascension onto your carry, and add or upgrade a relic before retrying. The element assault rewards steady investment far more than fast attempts, so a short detour to raise Combat Power usually clears the wall that stopped you.
