Cold War Events Schedule: APC Update Countdown and What’s Next

Cold War’s newest content wave is already live: a batch of five new gamemodes went in on September 12, 2026, and Grip Studios has an APC Update lined up to follow later in the month. Here’s what’s live in Grip Studios’ 80-player alternative-history shooter right now, what’s coming next, and what just wrapped, with exact start and end times for each event in the schedule below.
It’s one of the busier shooters on Roblox. Around about 14,000 players are in matches as this goes out, the experience has pulled about 34,000,000 lifetime visits, and about 220,000 players have favorited it. Matches run up to 80 players across destructible environments with realistic, loadout-driven combat.
As of September 13, the New Gamemodes event is the one currently running, with the APC Update set to open later in September. Cold War has been shipping a new content event roughly every two weeks, so the schedule below changes often.

New Gamemodes (live now)
The current event adds five gamemodes to the rotation, alongside a round of optimizations:
- Advance & Secure
- Random Advance and Secure
- King of the Hill
- Conquest
- Frontlines
It opened on September 12, 2026 and is a day in, with over a week left before it closes on September 26 at 1:00 PM ET. It has drawn interest from about 4,900 players — a solid turnout, though behind the upcoming APC Update.
APC Update (upcoming)
The next event on the calendar is the APC Update, scheduled to begin September 25, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET and run through October 2. Grip Studios hasn’t detailed what it includes yet — the listing simply asks players to hit notify — but it has already pulled the largest interest count of any Cold War event on the schedule, with about 9,200 players signed on. Its window overlaps the tail end of the New Gamemodes run, so the two briefly share the calendar.

Read together, these releases show a steady rhythm: a new content event roughly every two weeks, each one opening at 1:00 PM ET. That’s 12:00 PM CT, 11:00 AM MT, 10:00 AM PT, and 6:00 PM in the UK.
