Control Resonant: Arish’s Briefing Walkthrough

“Arish’s Briefing” is an early main story mission in Control Resonant that funnels the crisis at the Evac Site into a concrete plan. It plays out entirely as a conversation with FBC Chief of Security Lin Salvador Arish, and finishing it opens up the next stretch of the campaign.

Quick answer: Head to the FBC Field Office in the Verizon building lobby in Central 3, walk up to Arish, and run through the entire dialogue. The quest completes automatically and hands you Power Lines and Notes: Plan of Attack.

Where to find Arish in Central 3

The objective marker points you to the Field Office, labeled Field Command inside the Federal Bureau of Control’s forward base. It sits in the Verizon building lobby within the Central 3 district, close to the Evacuation Zone 2 area. A yellow diamond marker sits over Arish on both the world and the compass, and the entrance doorway is painted with a yellow direction arrow to lead you in.

Before heading in, you can check the Quest Log to confirm the active objective reads “Talk to Arish at the Field Office.” The log note also confirms Arish is in the Verizon building lobby.

Complete the conversation with Arish

Climb the exterior stairs and pass through the revolving doors into the Field Office lobby. Cross the circular carpeted floor toward the command table where Arish stands with Ranger Beckett and Ranger Jones.

Use the on-screen prompt to speak with Arish and start the briefing. He begins by saying that increasingly powerful Hiss tremors are penetrating the Pattern barrier near the Evac Site.

Work through each dialogue prompt. The choices are conversational and do not block completion, so you can pick whichever responses you prefer. Arish lays out Emily Pope’s plan to weaponize the corpse of the Resonant Entity you defeated as the Cancellation Field Device, or CFD.

Keep advancing the conversation as Arish covers the diving bell descent into the Sinkhole, the probe relays, and the missing subway station that needs its power rerouted. Choosing “Anything else?” pulls up the remaining topics.

Finish the final prompts. Selecting “I can handle it” triggers the New Quest: POWER LINES banner, and the conversation then ends with the Quest Completed: ARISH’S BRIEFING notification, immediately followed by New Quest: NOTES: PLAN OF ATTACK.

What the briefing unlocks

Completing Arish’s Briefing adds two active main story quests. Power Lines covers the vanished subway work, while Notes: Plan of Attack bundles the three tasks needed to make the CFD functional, including the Into the Sinkhole objective.
