Control Resonant: How to Solve the Halloween Party Rooftop Puzzle

The Halloween Party is a hidden rooftop puzzle in Control Resonant, tucked onto a decorated wooden terrace in West Incursion Zone 5. The party is set up wrong, and Dylan will only sketch it once the four missing decorations are back in place.

Quick answer: Reach the deck above Urban Fresh, then set the inflatable pumpkin stack upright, drop the loose pumpkin by the skeleton, place the inflatable ghost by the left trellis, and return the skeleton prop near the table. Interact with the table to draw.

Where to find the Halloween Party puzzle

The puzzle is on the rooftop terrace above Urban Fresh in West Incursion Zone 5. Its map icon is a white question mark labeled “Secret,” positioned north and northeast of the West Incursion Zone Checkpoint.

Use the teleport from the road outside Urban Fresh to reach the raised wooden terrace. On the deck, inspect the table in the middle marked “Halloween party” to trigger Dylan’s dialogue. He says he could sketch the party, then adds, “Just gotta make it right first.”

The four decorations to place

Four props are missing or misplaced around the deck. You need to pick each one up and set it in its correct spot before the “Draw” option appears. The table below lists where each item starts and where it belongs.

Solve the puzzle step by step

Take the bundle of four inflatable pumpkins from the wooden deck’s edge. Bring it to the trellis at the rear and stand it upright on the right side of the “Happy Halloween” banner.

Walk down the narrow side path and grab the single loose pumpkin sitting on the ground. Bring it back and drop it beside the skeleton seated near the outdoor sofa.

Head down to the lower patio on the left and collect the inflatable ghost mounted on a pumpkin base. Bring it back up and position it by the terrace’s left-side trellis, close to the couch.

Hop onto the lower roof to your right and grab the loose skeleton prop beside the utility unit. Bring it back to the deck and position it beside the pumpkin stack, on the party table’s right. Dylan will say, “That’s better.”

Use [F] Drop Object to release each prop once you are in the right spot. Dylan’s “That’s better” line is your cue that all four items are correctly placed.

Sketch the scene and claim the reward

With every decoration placed, walk back to the central party table. The interaction prompt now reads [ALT] Draw instead of the earlier dialogue option. Trigger it to start a short cutscene of Dylan sketching the restored party in his notebook.

Finishing the sketch adds +100 progression to West Incursion Zone 5 and makes the “Halloween Party” collectible available in the Archives as part of Dylan’s Sketchbook. This is entry 8/11, with the description “Sketched in the West Incursion Zone” and the note “Halloween Party 2026 – How it should have gone.” The notification “+1 Undefined Reading: Halloween Party” also appears to confirm completion.
