Where to find the Beach Day scene in Downtown

The setup sits at Lookout Point in the Downtown area of Manhattan, close to the Deserted Area. Look for a rooftop holding a blue tarp positioned in front of a billboard reading “A New You Awaits.” That tarp is the anchor for the whole event.

Downtown’s map marks this spot as a secret location, so the tarp is easy to miss until you stand on it. The two props you need, a beach umbrella and a folding chair, are scattered nearby among the dumpsters and the adjacent alley.

How to complete the Beach Day scene

Go up to the roof and find the viewing spot marked by a blue tarp and the “A New You Awaits” billboard. Stand right beside the tarp and wait for the interaction prompt.

Find the striped beach umbrella resting near the nearby dumpsters. Pick it up, carry it to the tarp, and drop it onto the setup.

Find a folding lawn chair in the brick alley behind the dumpsters. Pick it up, bring it to the tarp, and set it beside the chair already beneath the umbrella.

You cannot start the drawing while holding an object. Set both props down first, then step back to trigger the prompt.

Confirm the Beach Day unlock in Archives

After the cutscene, a notification reading Beach Day appears on screen to confirm the collectible was added. To verify it, open the menu, select Archives, and go to Dylan’s Sketchbook. The Beach Day sketch will now show there.

The entry is described as “Sketched in Downtown,” with a note written on the back: “Wonder what it feels like to swim in the sea.” Seeing this page in the Sketchbook is the final sign that the secret is complete.
