Coris Mine Chest Locations in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave (All 3 Chests)

Coris Mine is one of the real-time dungeon areas in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, explored with Leda and a squad of party units before the Battle at Coris Mine. Like every dungeon in the game, it hides a fixed number of treasure chests, and leaving without them means losing a free healing item, a permanent accessory, and a chunk of gold.

Quick answer: Coris Mine contains three chests — a Vulnerary along the miners’ corridor, an Archer’s Ring back through the opposite rocky passage, and a Large Coin past the green recovery spring.

The three chests in Coris Mine

ChestItemWhere it sits
1VulneraryDown the first cave corridor, past the NPC miners
2Archer’s RingBack the other way, in the rocky passage behind you
3Large CoinFurther along the tunnels, past the green recovery spring

All three chests glow gold, so they stand out clearly against the dark rock even without checking the minimap. Clearing them in the order above keeps backtracking to a minimum.

Chest route through Coris Mine

From the dungeon entrance, run straight down the cave corridor with Leda in control. You will pass a group of NPC miners working along the walls; keep going past them until the first golden chest comes into view.

Walk up to the chest until the Examine prompt appears on screen, then press it to open the chest and collect the Vulnerary. Chests do not open automatically, so the prompt has to be triggered manually for the pickup to count.

Turn around and head back the way you came, then follow the rocky passage running in the opposite direction. The second chest sits at the end of it and yields the Archer’s Ring.

Continue deeper into the tunnels until you pass a green glowing recovery spring. The third chest is a short run beyond it and holds a Large Coin, which closes out the dungeon’s chest objective.

Stop at the recovery spring on the way through if the squad took damage from Clashes, so the Vulnerary stays in reserve for the battle later.

Chest counter and the Find Balboa marker

Two pieces of on-screen information matter while you are looting. The chest counter in the top right of the screen shows how many chests remain unopened, and the objective marker tracks the Find Balboa goal with a live distance readout in metres.

The marker points at the story objective, not at treasure, so following it directly will walk you past chests. Treat it as a way to orient yourself in the tunnels, then step off the marked path whenever the counter still reads above zero.

What each Coris Mine chest reward does

Vulnerary

Vulnerary is the game’s basic healing item. It arrives with 3/3 durability and restores 20 HP per use, which makes it a cheap way to keep a squishy unit alive through the Clashes in the mine or in the chapter battle that follows.

Archer’s Ring

Archer’s Ring grants Hit +5. It is the most valuable of the three pickups long term, since accuracy carries over into every future fight. Put it on a unit whose weapon already has shaky hit rates rather than one that rarely misses.

Large Coin

Large Coin has no combat use. It exists to be sold at a shop for gold, so hold onto it until you are back in town and can trade it in toward weapons, armor, or restocking supplies.

Confirming all Coris Mine chests are cleared

You know the dungeon is fully looted when the chest count in the top right reaches zero and the chest objective registers as complete after the Large Coin is picked up. Each chest also drops its item straight into your inventory with an on-screen confirmation, so the Vulnerary, Archer’s Ring, and Large Coin should all appear there before you move on.

Even with the counter at zero, a quick sweep of any side tunnels you skipped is worth the time, since dungeon enemies give experience and the mine can be left behind for good once the story pushes you into the battle.
