Sifted Sands is the screen below the main Sandfalls checkpoint, and it stops a lot of players cold. The floor is broken up by quicksand pits, a wide gap, and dynamite carts that block the route until you set them off. Getting across is less about combat and more about reading the layout and using Mina’s movement tools in the right order.

Where the Sifted Sands pit is in Sandfalls
Reach Sandfalls by leaving Ossex through the southern gate and pushing into the Southern Outskirts. Turn right to find the screen with a jumping purple flower, then enter the nearby cave. Inside, use the purple flowers to launch yourself over the interior gaps until you exit the far side, and follow the path until it opens into Sandfalls.
From the Sandfalls checkpoint, drop into the screen directly below you. That is Sifted Sands, and the wide pit sits between you and the eastern side of the area where the path continues.

What waits on the eastern edge
A minotaur guards the far-right path. Deal with it, then burrow into the open hole there to drop down. That hole leads into a hidden cave that holds the Ring Master’s arena, so reaching the eastern edge is also how you find that optional movement challenge.
How to know you crossed correctly
You have cleared the pit once you reach the eastern edge without falling into the quicksand and can burrow into the hole on the far right. If the path still looks blocked, you most likely have a dynamite cart left to detonate. If Mina keeps falling short of the far platform, you are jumping manually instead of letting a purple flower launch you across.
Mina the Hollower is developed by Yacht Club Games, and you can find platform and store details on the official game page.
