Da Hood
Da Hood on Roblox: Player Count, Updates & What to Know

Da Hood is one of Roblox’s long-running street-survival hits: a gritty open-world city where players pick between enforcing the law and breaking it, then fight, rob, and brawl their way to the top. Built by Da Hood Entertainment, it has grown into one of the platform’s genuine heavyweights — the experience has been visited about 3,000,000,000 times and favorited about 3,000,000 times.
On a typical day there are roughly about 2,800 people in the game at once — a steady crowd for a title that rewards patience and timing over quick wins. We’ll cover Da Hood’s in-game events and major updates here, adding dates as the developers put them on the calendar. Last updated October 28.

What Da Hood is about
Da Hood is a street-combat and survival game set in a rough open-world city. It leans on hand-to-hand fighting and a constant tug-of-war between law and crime, and it’s known for being tough to master rather than a casual hangout. One gate catches a lot of newcomers off guard: your Roblox account needs to be at least 10 days old before you can join.
Playing as a cop or a criminal
The city splits roughly into two roles. To play as a cop, head to the police station and sign on — but the rules are strict, and taking someone out without cuffing them first will get you booted from the force, so arrests are meant to run through handcuffs. Criminals work the other side, hitting banks and smaller shops around the map to build a wanted level and stack up cash.
Fighting, fitness, and staying alive
Combat rewards timing. Block at the right moment and you can weave an incoming hit cleanly, which makes reading your opponent more important than mashing buttons. Progression ties into the gym, too: buying weights at the fitness spot builds muscle, and if you want to slim back down, eating lettuce brings your muscle back down.
What you keep — and what you lose
Guns stick with you between sessions, but they aren’t guaranteed. You can lose a weapon by dying, by logging out while knocked out, or by running it dry to zero ammo. Cash is a little safer but not free to move: dropping money skims 30% off the top, so passing funds along always costs you a cut.
