The iOS and Android version arrives September 17 with paid add-ons like the Dredge crossover and the In The Jungle expansion ready to buy on day one.

Dave the Diver is bringing its mix of deep-sea fishing and sushi-restaurant management to phones, and the mobile version won’t be a stripped-back release. When it lands on iOS and Android, players can buy the game’s downloadable content straight away, including the newest expansion.

Quick answer: Dave the Diver launches on iOS and Android on September 17. Paid DLC will be available to purchase from launch, spanning the Dredge crossover content pack and the In The Jungle expansion. Pre-registration is open now on both platforms.

Dave the Diver mobile release date and platforms

The mobile version arrives September 17 on iOS and Android. This is the global rollout that follows the game’s earlier mobile debut in China, which sold around half a million copies.

The phone edition is a full rework rather than a quick port, redesigned to run and control properly on touch devices. On console and PC, the base game is already available across PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Which DLC you can buy at mobile launch

Both older favorites and the latest expansion are on sale from the moment the game goes live. None of it is free, but the lineup covers the crossover packs fans already know alongside the newest land-based adventure.

DLCWhat it adds
Dredge crossoverFoggy-night boat controls, a dredging system, aberrant fish, the Drain Gun, and new hooded customers
In The JungleA freshwater jungle biome, Utara village, the Bancho Grill restaurant, and roughly 10 hours of new content

What In The Jungle adds

In The Jungle is the biggest expansion so far, and it moves Dave away from the Blue Hole entirely. Dave and the crew travel to a remote jungle region to investigate a strange phenomenon reported in the village of Utara, trading saltwater diving for a freshwater lake full of new creatures.

Utara runs on real-time progression and uses an isometric view. You can dive, gather fruit and resources, and build relationships with villagers by completing quests, with those bonds feeding back into the restaurant side of the game.

The expansion also swaps sushi for grilling. The new Bancho Grill serves cooked freshwater dishes, and Dave can move freely around the space to serve diners across multiple areas instead of a single horizontal line. For combat, the Jungle Gun switches between net guns, shotguns, snipers, and standard fire to handle piranhas, crocodiles, and other dangers in the lake.

Mobile-specific quality-of-life features

The phone version reworks a few core actions around touch hardware. Pouring tea in Bancho’s restaurant now uses your device’s gyroscope, so you tilt the phone to serve.

  • Gyroscope tea-pouring in the sushi restaurant
  • Fast-travel to NPCs when visiting certain areas
  • A three-level viewing feature to adjust the perspective

How to get ready before September 17

Pre-registration is live for both iOS and Android, so you can sign up now and have the game ready to download on launch day. Search for Dave the Diver in the App Store or Google Play and register your interest through the official listing.

Note: the DLC packs are separate paid purchases. In The Jungle in particular unlocks after you finish the main story, though the game also lets you jump straight into the expansion if you prefer. If you want the intended experience, playing through the base campaign first keeps the story continuity intact.

With the full DLC catalog available from the start and controls rebuilt for touch, the mobile release gives new players a way to dive in for the first time while giving returning fans the newest jungle adventure on a smaller screen.
