Delivery Issues is a retro-styled 2D platformer built around one simple pressure: get the package to the door before the clock runs out. Developed by Whim Indie, it puts you in control of a winged courier sprinting through offices, city streets, subway stations, and rooftops in a place called Redino. The reveal trailer premiered as part of the Game Devs of Color Expo 2026 lineup and points players toward a demo, a wishlist page, and a crowdfunding campaign.

Quick answer: Delivery Issues is a pixel-art speed-delivery platformer from Whim Indie, playable now as a Steam demo and funded through an active Kickstarter at whimindie.com/deliveryissues.

What Delivery Issues is

The game is a timed platformer with a courier theme. Each stage is a delivery run, and a countdown timer sits at the top of the screen while you move. The trailer shows timers such as 01:32, 00:10, and a 05.00 marker, so the challenge is less about combat and more about routing yourself through a level fast enough to beat the clock.

You play a fixed protagonist rather than a custom character. The courier has curly blonde hair, a blue tracksuit with white stripes, small white wings, a visor, and headphones. A pink handheld communicator frames the story, welcoming the player into what the trailer calls the “family business.”

A HUD in the bottom-left corner tracks your delivery status, showing a character portrait, a package count, and an item tally. A downward arrow marks where each drop-off point is, so you always know the destination even while the level scrolls past at speed.

Movement mechanics and how runs work

Traversal is the core of the game. The courier chains together several movement abilities to keep momentum across each stage.

  • Jumping and wall jumping to climb multistory buildings
  • Mid-air dashing to cover gaps and cross open rooms
  • Sliding under obstacles, such as a ticket barrier in a subway station
  • Leaping off rooftops into long airborne stretches

These moves connect into fast routes through cluttered spaces. In one office run, the courier weaves past shelving and workers without breaking stride while the stage timer keeps ticking down.

The city of Redino and its hazards

Deliveries take you across a connected city named Redino. Stages move between corporate office floors, outdoor shopping streets, a subway transit station, cafes and restaurants, and skyscraper rooftops. On-screen slogans such as “DO IT FOR THE CITIZENS” and “DO IT FOR THE CITY OF REDINO” push the courier onward between locations.

Runs are not just about speed. Hostile entities block doorways and restaurant floors, and mysterious digital glitches distort the world along your routes. A hooded antagonist wearing tinted glasses and piercings warns the player through the communicator screen while the picture breaks up, signaling that something is disrupting the city’s delivery network.

A successful run ends with the courier handing a package to a recipient at the destination. The trailer closes one loop with a delivery at an indoor lobby fountain, the same kind of landmark the courier starts near under a neon “DELIVER!” sign.

Platforms and where to play the demo

A demo is available now, and you can wishlist the full game on Steam. The trailer’s title card lists platform icons for several systems the game is targeting.

  • Steam
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Xbox
  • PlayStation
  • itch.io
  • Apple / macOS

The trailer shows these platform icons as intended targets alongside the demo and wishlist callout, so treat them as the planned lineup rather than confirmed store availability today.

Kickstarter funding and the GDoCExpo tie-in

Delivery Issues is being funded through an active Kickstarter campaign, and the trailer closes with a support callout, a scannable QR code, and the studio’s project page. You can find the campaign and more details at the developer’s own site.

The reveal arrived as part of the Game Devs of Color Expo 2026, the event’s 11th annual edition, which spotlights new and upcoming games from creators worldwide through talks, showcases, and a dedicated Direct segment. For a courier that just wants to beat the timer, that stage is a fitting place to make a first delivery.
