The trailer frames the whole thing as a lone journey. Shepherd crosses vast dunes rippled into circular patterns that resemble the grooves of a vinyl record, moving toward a massive naval ship stranded in the sand beneath a ring-shaped sun.
That record motif is literal. A turntable stylus repeatedly drops onto a spinning red disc, tying the “lament” idea to a piece of music that plays through the cinematic.
The tagline’s “names” refer to dog tags. Shepherd raises a brass pendant he took from a fallen ally, with rows of tags covering his chest; together, they give the outfit the feel of a tribute rather than an ordinary combat redesign.
Sonic gadget skins and ability effects

The date is not arbitrary. September 26 is the central day of Delta Force’s second-anniversary celebration inside the Season 11: Reorientation update, which also delivers the Layali Grove 2.0 Operations overhaul, The Mog Warfare map, and new weapons such as the MDR and Thompson.
That same day opens the main wave of anniversary rewards. From September 26 through October 25, login and match objectives hand out up to 3,900 Limited-Time Delta Tickets, and logging in on the 26th plus finishing one match guarantees 1,000 tickets through the Day 1 Gift Box.

Team Jade has confirmed the appearance and the launch date, but the full itemized breakdown is not published. The final prize pool, exact price, any additional accessories, and the precise way you acquire Lament should be treated as unconfirmed until the store announcement appears.
Past Ultimate Appearances offer a ballpark for the scale. Fury’s Operator Research event accepted Delta Coins, Limited-Time Delta Tickets, or Delta Tickets as payment. Securing the operator appearance also granted every other reward in the pool while it was active. Lament’s structure has not been confirmed, so don’t count on free anniversary tickets covering a particular amount.
