Denia is the 5-star Fusion Rectifier introduced in Wuthering Waves 3.3, built around switching between Stagecraft Form and Breakdown Form to enable Fusion Burst and Tune Strain teams. She works primarily as a Resonance Liberation sub-DPS and amplifier, leaning on her Forte Circuit for resource generation and her Final Act skills for burst damage.

How Denia works in combat
Denia toggles between two stances that feed each other. Stagecraft Form generates Void Particles through basic attacks, and casting Final Act – Stagecraft Form pushes her into Breakdown Form with Entropy Shift: Breakdown Form active, which trickles Void Particles back over time.
Breakdown Form converts Void Particles into Conformal Charge. With Dark Cores on hand, her Resonance Skill upgrades from Beckon to Banish – Breakdown Form Stage 2, and every Dark Core consumed adds 150% to that hit's damage multiplier. When Conformal Charge fills, Final Act – Breakdown Form fires off as her main nuke, leaves an Erosion Field that pulls enemies and ticks for Resonance Liberation damage for 30 seconds, then drops her back to Stagecraft Form with a 30% ATK buff from Entropy Shift: Stagecraft Form.
Her inherent skill refunds Dark Cores up to 2 and Void Particles up to 20 at the start of combat, so the opening rotation is always loaded.
The other lever is her Resonance Mode. Fusion Burst mode applies Fusion Burst stacks and grants the whole team 30% Fusion DMG Bonus while she sits in an Entropy Shift state. Tune Strain mode applies Tune Strain – Shifting, refreshes Tune Strain – Interfered, and hands the team 45 Break Boost instead.

Skill priority
Denia's damage spreads across Resonance Liberation, Forte Circuit, and Resonance Skill, with Liberation acting as both her form-switch button and her highest multiplier.
| Priority | Skill | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Resonance Liberation | Controls form switching and carries Final Act damage. |
| 2 | Forte Circuit | Powers Void Particle, Conformal Charge, and the Erosion Field. |
| 3 | Resonance Skill | Banish – Breakdown Form scales hard with Dark Cores. |
| 4 | Basic Attack | Used for resource generation; low direct damage. |
| 5 | Intro Skill | Minor contribution; level last. |
Unlock both inherent skills as soon as the materials allow. The first refills resources at combat start, and the second is what grants the team the 30% Fusion DMG Bonus or 45 Break Boost during Entropy Shift windows.
Rotation
Step 1: Open in Stagecraft Form and chain basic attacks to top off Void Particles. The inherent skill already starts you with Dark Cores and 20 Void Particles, so this is short.

Step 2: Cast Final Act – Stagecraft Form to flip into Breakdown Form. You now have Entropy Shift: Breakdown Form ticking Void Particles back, and your Resonance Mode buff applied to the team.
Step 3: Spend Dark Cores on Banish – Breakdown Form Stage 2. Try to consume all 3 Dark Cores in one cast for the maximum 450% multiplier add-on, which counts as Resonance Liberation DMG.
Step 4: Use basic attacks in Breakdown Form to convert Void Particles into Conformal Charge. Normal attacks here count as Resonance Liberation DMG and get a 50% multiplier bonus while Void Particle is held.
Step 5: Once Conformal Charge is full, fire Final Act – Breakdown Form for the main burst. This deploys the Erosion Field for 30 seconds of off-field Resonance Liberation damage and returns her to Stagecraft Form with a 30% ATK buff for the next cycle.
Step 6: Swap to your main DPS through Outro Skill. The incoming Resonator gets the echo set's outgoing buff (Fusion DMG Bonus from Chromatic Foam or ATK from Reel of Spliced Memories) while the Erosion Field continues to tick in the background.

Best weapons
Denia wants ATK, Crit, and Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus. Effects that trigger from Fusion Burst or Tune Strain – Shifting line up with both of her Resonance Modes.
| Weapon | Rarity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Forged Dwarf Star | 5★ | Signature. 500 ATK, 36% Crit Rate. +12% ATK, +36% Resonance Liberation DMG for 5s on Fusion Burst or Tune Strain – Shifting; teammates also gain +24% ATK for 15s when they apply the same statuses. |
| Stringmaster | 5★ | Best F2P-friendly 5★ swap. Strong for off-field damage and can edge out the signature in off-field-heavy setups. |
| Lethean Elegy | 5★ | 587 ATK with 24.3% Crit Rate; works as a generic high-stat stick if you have it built. |
| Cosmic Ripples | 5★ | Energy Regen + ATK substat; usable when energy is tight. |
| Augment | 4★ | Battle Pass option. Crit Rate substat and an ATK buff tied to Resonance Liberation casts. |
| Variation | 4★ | Niche; sacrifices personal damage for faster Concerto cycling. |
| Waltz in Masquerade | 4★ | Stacking ATK against debuffed enemies, which Denia applies constantly. |
Forged Dwarf Star is the strongest because the team-wide ATK buff stacks cleanly on top of her Fusion DMG Bonus from inherent skill 2. Stringmaster is the cleanest pull-free option if you already have Yinlin's signature.
Best echo sets
The right set depends on which Resonance Mode you lock in before the fight and who the main DPS is.
| Set | When to use | Key effect |
|---|---|---|
| Chromatic Foam | Fusion Burst teams (e.g., Aemeath as main DPS) | 2pc: +10% Fusion DMG. 5pc: Inflicting Fusion Burst grants +10% Fusion DMG, and casting Outro Skill during it passes +25% Fusion DMG to the incoming Resonator for 15s. |
| Reel of Spliced Memories | Tune Strain teams | 2pc: +10% ATK. 5pc: Applying Tune Strain – Shifting grants the team +20 Tune Break Boost for 30s. |
| Flaming Clawprint | Tune, DoT, or Denia-as-main-DPS | 2pc: +10% Fusion DMG. 5pc: Resonance Liberation grants the team +15% Fusion DMG and Denia +20% Resonance Liberation DMG for 35s. |
| Moonlit Clouds | Universal fallback | 2pc: +10% Energy Regen. 5pc: Outro Skill grants the next Resonator +22.5% ATK for 15s. |
The 4-cost main echo follows the set. Trickster (Chromatic Foam) deals 273.6% Fusion DMG and carries a +12% Fusion DMG handoff. Voidwing Moth (Reel of Spliced Memories) tap-deals 405% Spectro DMG with a +12% ATK handoff. Lioness of Glory adds 12% Fusion DMG and 12% Resonance Liberation DMG to the equipped Resonator directly. Impermanence Heron remains a safe pick if you only have Moonlit Clouds available.

Echo stats
Cost layout is 4-3-3-1-1. Crit is the bottleneck because Denia's Forte Circuit, Liberation, and Erosion Field all crit independently.
| Slot | Main stat |
|---|---|
| Cost 4 | Crit DMG or Crit Rate |
| Cost 3 | Fusion DMG Bonus or ATK% |
| Cost 3 | Fusion DMG Bonus or ATK% |
| Cost 1 | ATK% |
| Cost 1 | ATK% |
For substats, prioritize Energy Regen until around 125%, then move to Crit DMG and Crit Rate, then ATK%, then Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus. Flat ATK is the lowest-value roll. Because her inherent skill refills resources at combat start, you do not need to push Energy Regen far past the 125% threshold.
Best team comps
Denia slots cleanly into Fusion Burst and Tune Strain cores. The strongest current pairing keeps Aemeath as the on-field Fusion DPS while Chisa handles healing and debuff support.
| Team | Main DPS | Sub-DPS / Amp | Support | Resonance Mode |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fusion Burst | Aemeath | Denia | Chisa | Fusion Burst |
| Tune Strain | Luuk Herssen | Denia | Chisa or Shorekeeper | Tune Strain |
| Fusion DoT | Changli or Brant | Denia | Verina / Baizhi | Fusion Burst |
In Fusion Burst comps, set Denia to Resonance Mode – Fusion Burst before combat so her inherent buff broadcasts +30% Fusion DMG Bonus and the Erosion Field counts toward Fusion Burst kills. For Tune Strain comps, swap modes so her hits apply Tune Strain – Shifting and her inherent skill swaps to +45 Break Boost for the team.

Resonance chain priority
Denia functions well at S0R1. Her chain ordering is built around small but meaningful damage, and quality-of-life adds rather than mechanic rewrites.
S1 grants 30% Crit DMG and interruption immunity while casting Phantom Bubble or Banish, and reclassifies their damage as Resonance Liberation DMG, which lets the damage benefit from Liberation buffs and her signature weapon's Liberation DMG line. Higher chains (S2, S3, and S6) continue to scale her numbers, with S6 being the practical ceiling for whales.
Recommended pull priority is S0R1 first, then S2R1, then S3R1, then push to S6R1 or S6R5 only if you intend to invest fully.
Ascension materials
Stock up before her ascension thresholds hit. Talent and ascension demands pull from her own Tacet Discord (We Who Question) and the Reactor Husk challenge (Burning Judgment).
| Material | Amount | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Burning Judgment | 46 | Reactor Husk challenge |
| We Who Question | 26 | Denia weekly challenge |
| Dream of Stars | 60 | Collectible |
| Premium Resonance Potion | 122 | Crafting / drops |
| String (T1–T4) | 25 / 28 / 55 / 67 | Common drops |
| Mech Core (T1–T4) | 29 / 40 / 52 / 61 | Elite drops |
The short version: lean into Forged Dwarf Star with Chromatic Foam for Fusion Burst teams, swap to Reel of Spliced Memories when running a Tune Strain core, and treat her Resonance Mode as the first decision before every fight. Get her Energy Regen near 125%, keep stacking Crit, and she stays one of the strongest amplifiers in the 3.3 roster.
