Is there a villain in The Keepsake Sea?
No villain has been announced yet. That said, every past expansion has been built around a central Disney antagonist, so it’s reasonable to expect one here too. A few hints in the reveal material line up with three strong candidates.
- Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. Around the 46-second mark of the announcement trailer, a skull flag hangs above a wooden door, and the skull closely matches the design on Facilier’s hat.
- Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean. As one of Jack Sparrow’s biggest rivals, he fits both the pirate and underwater themes.
- Captain Hook from Peter Pan. With Peter Pan and Tinker Bell already in the game, his arrival would suit the seafaring setting.
