Disney Dreamlight Valley: Every Keepsake Sea Character Confirmed So Far

The Keepsake Sea is the fourth full expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it sends players below the waterline for the first time as magical Merfolk. Like earlier paid packs, it comes with its own roster of villagers you can only meet by owning the expansion. Three of them have been named already, with clear signs that the final cast will be larger.

Quick answer: Three characters are confirmed for The Keepsake Sea — Milo Thatch, Captain Jack Sparrow, and Megara. All three are exclusive to the paid expansion, and Gameloft has said more surprises are still to come.

Confirmed Keepsake Sea villagers

Three villagers have been officially revealed, each drawn from a different Disney film and tied to a role in the expansion’s story. You cannot find, meet, or befriend any of them without buying the pack.

Milo ThatchAtlantis: The Lost EmpireCartographer and linguist who guides you into the new region
Captain Jack SparrowPirates of the CaribbeanTeaches the Pirate Code and the basics of sailing
MegaraHerculesA wary newcomer whose trust you have to earn

Milo serves as your entry point into the story, walking you through the mysteries of the faraway kingdom you’re trying to reach. Jack Sparrow anchors the pirate-themed island biome and handles the sailing and crew mechanics. Megara arrives later in the arc, and building her friendship takes more work than the others.

Why the final roster is likely larger than three

Three is almost certainly not the final number. Every full-sized expansion so far has shipped with more than three unlockable villagers, and only a couple are usually named ahead of launch. The rest tend to stay hidden until closer to release, or until later story chapters if the pack rolls out in parts.

Gameloft’s own preview language points the same way, promising that “more surprises await” beyond the three named friends. Expect at least one or two additional villagers to be added to the count before or during launch.

Is there a villain in The Keepsake Sea?

No villain has been announced yet. That said, every past expansion has been built around a central Disney antagonist, so it’s reasonable to expect one here too. A few hints in the reveal material line up with three strong candidates.

  • Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. Around the 46-second mark of the announcement trailer, a skull flag hangs above a wooden door, and the skull closely matches the design on Facilier’s hat.
  • Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean. As one of Jack Sparrow’s biggest rivals, he fits both the pirate and underwater themes.
  • Captain Hook from Peter Pan. With Peter Pan and Tinker Bell already in the game, his arrival would suit the seafaring setting.

None of these are confirmed. Because each expansion’s villain usually matches its theme, these three sit at the top of the list of possibilities.

When to expect more reveals

A dedicated Showcase stream is set for October 21, running on the game’s official YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and TikTok channels. It’s billed as a deeper look at the expansion’s characters, biomes, and features, so it’s the most likely place for additional villager reveals and a possible villain announcement.

The Keepsake Sea itself launches in November 2026 across Apple Arcade, the Mac App Store, Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 4 and 5. An exact release date and pricing have not been announced. You can follow updates on the official Disney Dreamlight Valley site.

For now, plan your roster around Milo Thatch, Jack Sparrow, and Megara, and treat the count as a floor rather than a ceiling. If the pattern of earlier expansions holds, the underwater kingdom will introduce at least a couple more faces before players finish charting it.
