Elation Trailblazer Eidolons in Honkai: Star Rail - Where to Find Every Shadow of Elation

Elation Trailblazer Eidolons in Honkai: Star Rail - Where to Find Every Shadow of Elation

Elation Trailblazer is a free unit in Honkai: Star Rail, and all six of their Eidolons are obtainable through normal play during version 4.2, with no pulls required. The copies arrive under the name Shadow of Elation, sourced from the main story, the Furbobo Freebies shop inside Planarcadia, and from Heromorpher Wish items earned in earlier patches.

Quick answer: Complete the version 4.2 Trailblaze Mission "So Laughed the Masses" to receive one Shadow of Elation and auto-convert any stored Heromorpher Wishes from 4.0 and 4.1. Then climb to level 26 in Planarcadia by submitting Arcadian Tokens and redeem three more Shadows from Furbobo Freebies on Furbobocom.

Where each Shadow of Elation comes from

The six Eidolons are split across three sources. One drops from the current patch's story beat, two come from older Trailblaze Missions that were paid out in advance as Heromorpher Wishes, and three sit behind a shop gated by your Planarcadia exploration level.

SourceCopiesRequirement
Trailblaze Mission "So Laughed the Masses"1Complete the 4.2 story chapter
Heromorpher Wish conversion2Completion rewards from 4.0 and 4.1 Trailblaze Missions, auto-converted on finishing 4.2
Furbobo Freebies (Furbobocom)3Reach Planarcadia level 26 by submitting Arcadian Tokens

If you played through 4.0 and 4.1 when they launched, the Heromorpher Wishes are already sitting in your inventory. You don't need to do anything with them manually. Finishing the 4.2 Trailblaze Mission triggers the conversion on its own, and the two Shadows of Elation drop straight onto the character.

Reaching Planarcadia level 26 for the shop copies

Three Shadows of Elation are tied to Furbobo Freebies, the redemption menu inside Furbobocom in Planarcadia. All three are only claimable once your Planarcadia exploration level hits 26. The level goes up by turning in Arcadian Tokens, the regional currency you pick up while clearing map activities, chests, and encounters across the zone.

Step 1: Explore Planarcadia and collect Arcadian Tokens from overworld activities. Combat events, puzzles, and chests are the fastest sources while you're still uncovering the map.

Step 2: Submit the tokens at the Planarcadia progression interface to raise your exploration level. Each submission pushes the bar forward, and level 26 is the threshold that unlocks all three Shadow of Elation rewards in the shop.

Step 3: Open Furbobocom, navigate to the Furbobo Freebies tab, and claim the three Shadow of Elation entries. They go directly to Elation Trailblazer's Eidolon slots.

How to confirm each Eidolon has landed

Open Elation Trailblazer's character screen and check the Eidolon panel. Each unlocked rank lights up in order from E1 through E6. If a Shadow of Elation enters your inventory from the story drop, a pop-up confirms it; the Heromorpher Wish conversion shows a separate prompt the moment the 4.2 Trailblaze Mission wraps up.

If you hit level 26 in Planarcadia and the Furbobo Freebies entries still show as locked, reopen the shop after claiming one reward. The UI refreshes per claim rather than all at once.

What each Eidolon actually does

Two of the six ranks (E3 and E5) only boost ability levels, so the meaningful combat changes come from E1, E2, E4, and E6. Here's what each one layers onto the kit.

EidolonNameEffect
E1Believe In the LightAfter using Skill, next Ultimate grants +2 Certified Banger to ally targets. Stacks up to 3 times.
E2History in the MakingUltimate also raises the designated ally's Elation by 12% for 2 turns.
E3Into the SpotlightSkill +2, Talent +2, Elation Skill +1 (level caps raised).
E4Save the World. Just Because.Using Elation Skill increases DMG taken by enemies by 10% for 2 turns.
E5Love & Courage: Always in StyleUltimate +2, Basic ATK +1, Elation Skill +1 (level caps raised).
E6The Cosmic Legend Cometh!Using Elation Skill grants +100% CRIT DMG for 3 turns.

E4 carries the most team-wide value because the damage-taken debuff refreshes every time the Elation Skill triggers, which means any Elation damage dealer in the party, such as Silver Wolf Lv. 999, Yao Guang, or Sparxie, benefits directly. E1, by contrast, only matters if teammates actually convert Certified Banger into output, which narrows its usefulness depending on your roster.

If Eidolons aren't showing up

The most common reason is that the 4.2 Trailblaze Mission "So Laughed the Masses" isn't finished yet. Heromorpher Wishes from 4.0 and 4.1 stay inert in the inventory until that mission completes, so the two older Eidolons will not convert until you push through the current story. The story drop and the conversion happen during the same completion sequence.

For the Furbobo Freebies copies, exploration level 26 is a hard gate. If your Arcadian Token balance is low, unopened map regions and uncompleted Planarcadia events are where the rest of the tokens live. There's no workaround that skips the level requirement.

Note: Eidolon 6 is the final unlock and is tied to completing the main story arc. If you stop short, E6 won't appear even after finishing every other 4.2 objective.
