The Tarnished Pack scatters twelve new pickups across the Lands Between, covering five weapons, four armor sets, two shields, and three Torrent skins. Some are simple merchant purchases, others sit on corpses in remote spots, and two only drop from NPC invaders you have to trigger. Here is where each one lives and exactly what you need to claim it.
Quick answer: Buy the Steel, Silver Grooved, and Hefty Scimitar gear from three roaming merchants, grab the Reverse-Bladed Sword from the Twin Maiden Husks, loot the Reed Great Katana, Idus Sword, Ritual Thrusting Shield, and two Torrent skins from fixed corpses and chests, and defeat the invaders at Radahn’s arena and the Radagon statue in Leyndell for the Leontiel and Golden Order sets.

What you need before anything unlocks
None of these items exist in your world unless you own the Tarnished Pack or play Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition. On PC, PS5, and Xbox you also need the game updated to version 1.17 or higher for the new content to appear. Once that is in place, the pickups spawn in their locations and the invasions can trigger.
Two of the armor sets double as new starting classes. Choose the Heavy Knight to begin with the Steel set and Hefty Scimitar, or the Idus Knight to begin with the Silver Grooved set and Idus Sword. If you skip those classes, you can still collect every piece from the world locations below.

Gear you buy from merchants
Four of the new items are simple purchases. Bring enough Runes and you can grab them without fighting anything.
The full Steel set (Helm, Armor, Gauntlets, Greaves) is stocked by the Isolated Merchant at the Isolated Merchant’s Shack in Weeping Peninsula. The Steel Armor costs 1,500 Runes, and the Helm, Gauntlets, and Greaves are 1,000 Runes each.
The Hefty Scimitar, a Curved Greatsword, sells for 2,400 Runes from the Nomadic Merchant sitting north of Fort Haight in eastern Limgrave.
The Silver Grooved set and shield come from the Nomadic Merchant reached by passing through Bellum Church in Liurnia. The Silver Grooved Shield is 2,000 Runes, the Armor is 1,500 Runes, and the Helm, Gauntlets, and Greaves are 1,000 Runes each.
The Reverse-Bladed Sword, a Backhand Blade with the Blind Spot skill, is available for 1,000 Runes from the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold. It sits in the regular shop, so no bell bearing is required, which means you can pick up a backhand blade long before the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
Weapons you loot from the world
Three weapons sit on fixed corpses. Each one is a straightforward pickup once you reach the spot.

Armor sets from NPC invasions
Two full sets drop only when you beat a new invader. One is safe to grab at any point after its boss; the other can be permanently lost if you progress too far.
Leontiel’s Greatsword and armor set
Defeat Starscourge Radahn first. Return to the Site of Grace in his arena and walk north, toward the ruined structures to the northeast, to trigger an invasion by Knight Leontiel. Beating her hands over Leontiel’s Greatsword along with the Hat, Armor, Leather Gloves, and Boots. The greatsword requires 13 Strength and 26 Dexterity and uses the unique Muleta skill, which circles an enemy quickly and grants invincibility frames. This invasion is the only source for the set.
Golden Order Flail and armor set (missable)
This set is tied to the Radagon statue in Leyndell, Royal Capital, and it can only be earned before the area becomes the Capital of Ash, which happens once you burn the Erdtree. It also fails to trigger if you already cast the spell at the statue previously.
Note: If you have already reached Leyndell, Ashen Capital, the invader will not spawn and the set is gone for that playthrough.

All three Torrent skins
The Spectral Steed Regalia are cosmetic mounts for Torrent, a first for the series. Collect any one and you can swap Torrent’s look from the Site of Grace menu.
| Regalia | Where it is |
|---|---|
| Tree Sentinel | After beating Godrick the Grafted, enter the Stormveil Castle throne room, take the door on the right, and open the chest |
| Carian Silver | Inside Ranni’s Rise, climb the first stairs and loot the chest behind the desk |
| Funereal Night | Southeast of the Hermit Merchant’s Shack Site of Grace outside Leyndell, on the ground next to a sword stuck in the earth, behind two birch trees near the Sword Monument |
The Funereal Night skin is the only one not stored in a chest, so it is easy to miss. Look toward the cliff edge for the small sword planted in the ground and the skin resting beside it.
With the merchant purchases, world corpses, and two invasions cleared, you will have every weapon, armor set, shield, and Torrent skin the Tarnished Pack adds. The Golden Order set is the one to prioritize, since burning the Erdtree closes the door on it for good.
