Where to find Yucca Fruit
Yucca Fruit is a common food item. Its in-game description reads “A sweet fruit that grows in dry areas, needing little water.”, and its hint points you to the Kindlewastes. You can eat it raw for the “Fruit” food buff, which gives health regeneration for 300 seconds. It stacks to 20.
The fruit grows on Yucca palms, and almost all of them stand in one biome. The map has 148 Yucca Fruit spots in total:
- 146 in the Kindlewastes desert
- 1 in the Nomad Highlands
- 1 in the Springlands

Grilled Yucca Fruit is the simplest upgrade. Its description reads “When cooked, the Yucca Fruit becomes very sweet. Makes the mouth water and recovers Stamina.” It gives the “Sweet” buff, which increases stamina replenishment for 120 seconds. The Kitchen recipes mix the fruit with other ingredients, and the Shadowbloom Wrap needs only two fruit per batch.
Animal care accounts for the greatest ongoing use of Yucca Fruit. Both the Dune Armadillo and the Yak need it in their taming bait and feeder food. After you keep either animal, growing a few Yucca Palm Seedlings at your base cuts down on trips to the Kindlewastes. Taming and feeding both animals is in every pet and farm animal.
