Every Arc in Neverness to Everness: Stats, Substats, and Passive Effects

Arcs are the weapons that Casters equip in Neverness to Everness. Every Arc carries a base ATK value, a secondary stat, and a named passive that scales with refinement. There are 44 Arcs in total across three rarities (S, A, B) and five types: Gas, Liquid, Plasma, Solid, and Synthesis (sometimes labeled Bose).

⚙️
Quick answer: Arcs are not locked to specific characters by name, but each character can only equip Arcs that match their assigned Arc type. Pick by substat first (CRIT, ATK%, HP%, Break Intensity, Charge Efficiency), then by passive synergy with the kit.

How Arc stats work

Every Arc has two numerical components plus a passive. The base ATK at max level is added directly to the wearer's flat ATK. The secondary stat is a percentage or flat value tied to a single attribute, such as ATK%, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, HP%, DEF%, Break Intensity, or Charge Efficiency.

S-rank Arcs sit between 424 and 666 base ATK. A-rank Arcs run from 395 to 555. B-rank Arcs land between 316 and 380. Higher base ATK usually comes with a smaller secondary roll, and vice versa. Camellia Society leads on raw ATK at 666 with only 12% CRIT Rate, while Good Boy's Grand Adventure trades that down to 474 ATK in exchange for a 45% ATK% substat.

Passives scale with refinement, gained by pulling duplicate copies. A Rank 1 Arc carries the base passive numbers; Rank 5 roughly doubles the values shown in the lower end of each passive's range.

A-rank Arcs (full list)

A-rank Arcs cover 16 entries and serve as strong stand-ins for S-rank weapons. Several are competitive at endgame because their substats are unusually large (Umbrella and The Fools' Spring at 52.5% DEF, Failing You / The Great Thief at 120 Break Intensity).

B-rank Arcs (full list)

Substat distribution at a glance

The substat pool is heavily weighted toward ATK%, which sits on 19 of the 44 Arcs. CRIT-focused options (Rate plus DMG) make up another sizable chunk, while utility stats are deliberately rare. Charge Efficiency exists on exactly one Arc (Day Off), which is what makes it the only S-rank pick for rotation-hungry supports.

SubstatCountNotes
ATK%19Default for DPS Casters; spread across all rarities
CRIT Rate7Found on several flagship S-rank carry weapons
HP%6Mix of HP-scaling DPS and survival picks
CRIT DMG4Small pool; pairs well with high CRIT Rate kits
Break Intensity4Stagger-focused; The Great Thief and Failing You lead
DEF%3Tank/shield enablers
Charge Efficiency1Day Off only

Picking the right Arc for a Caster

Match the substat to the Caster's role first. DPS units want CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, or ATK%. Tanks and shielders take more advantage of HP%, DEF%, or Charge Efficiency. Break-oriented teams need Break Intensity, where Mind Royale, The Great Thief, and Failing You, Heavy in My Heart all carry weight.

Then look at how the passive interacts with the kit. Camellia Society works best on aggressive frontline carries that take and lose HP frequently. Day Off is a support tool tuned for Charge Efficiency-dependent rotations. Good Boy's Grand Adventure is the team-buff option for Casters that already build flat ATK from their kit. Eternal Waltz is reserved for HP-scaling Casters that need both Max HP and Mental DMG bursts.

📌
Note: Arc effects scale by refinement (R1 to R5). Numerical ranges shown reflect that scaling. R1 gives the lower number; R5 gives the upper number. S-rank duplicates are scarce, so most builds settle for R1 S-rank Arcs and only refine A-rank or B-rank options.

Where Arcs come from

The primary source is the Scarborough Fair gacha banner, which uses a separate pity track from character pulls. Soft pity for an S-rank Arc kicks in at 60 pulls, and every 10-pull guarantees at least one A-rank or higher. The featured limited S-rank Arc on a banner has a 25% chance to be the guaranteed S-rank drop. B-rank Arcs also appear in standard pulls and as rewards from various gameplay modes, and select Arcs are obtainable through events, story progression, and the in-game shop.

Treat the Arc list as a working reference. Match the type to the character, prioritize substat over passive when in doubt, and refine duplicates only when the Arc is realistically going to stay on the same Caster long-term.
