Smash the City, created by Kabooom Crew, is a Roblox game about demolition. Players use weapons to wreck the city featured on each map, with every city offering a distinct appearance and building arrangement. Beginners have access to two cities; unlocking the others requires Coins, the game’s primary currency, and costs more than most weapons.

Quick answer: The game has 13 developer-built cities. Downtown and Night City are free. The other 11 cost between 10,000 and 70,000 Coins each, or 390,000 Coins for all of them.

Smash the City cities and unlock costs

The cities are listed from cheapest to most expensive. The last column shows how many Coins you need in total to own every city up to that row, so you can see how much you have left to save.

How city unlocks work in Smash the City

There is no level or quest gate on a city. The only requirement is the Coin price, and you pay it once to own the city.

  • Coins come from each block or structure you destroy.
  • Extra Coin bonuses pay out when a run reaches 25%, 50%, 75%, and 95% destroyed.
  • Weapons and cities are bought with the same Coin balance.
  • A city you buy appears next to Downtown and Night City in the city list.

Weapons and cities share one wallet, so every city you buy delays your next weapon. Collect your milestone bonuses before you spend so you know your full balance.

Redeem the SMASH code for 5,000 Coins

The code SMASH gives 5,000 Coins. That covers half the price of VI City, the cheapest paid city. Redeem it in Smash the City on Roblox.

Launch the game and press the settings button on the left side of the screen. This opens the settings window.
Select the redeem code option in the settings window. A text field appears.
Type SMASH exactly as shown and press the redeem button. The code worked if a reward confirmation appears and your Coin total goes up by 5,000.

Community Cities and the 399 Robux city builder

The Community Cities tab has maps built by other players, and you can play them all for free. You can sort the list by Popular or New. Destroying buildings in a player-made city still earns Coins, so these maps also count toward your next unlock.

Building your own city costs 399 Robux, not Coins. The city builder is in early access and is a paid feature for now. It may become free later, but no date has been announced.

Player-made cities vary a lot in balance. Some are far tougher to clear than the official ones, so it helps to own a wider range of weapons before you play them for Coins. For the 11 paid developer cities, all you need is the Coin price in the table above.
