Every Sailor Piece Sword and Where to Get It (King Update)

A full rundown of all 22 swords, their islands, and the exact costs and conditions to unlock each one.

A full rundown of all 22 swords, their islands, and the exact costs and conditions to unlock each one.

Swords are the backbone of the weapon path in Sailor Piece, and the right blade can turn a slow grind into a fast one. Each sword sits in one of four rarities, carries its own base damage, speed, and mastery values, and is tied to a specific island, NPC, or boss. There are now 22 swords in the game after the King update, ranging from a free starter blade to endgame Mythicals that demand titles, rare materials, and tens of thousands of gems.

Quick answer: Buy the Katana from the Katana Seller on Starter Island for 2,500 money, then move up through Dark Blade and Gryphon before grinding bosses for Mythical blades like Atomic and Ice Queen. Every sword’s location and unlock condition is listed in the table below.

All Sailor Piece swords, locations, and how to get them

Swords fall into Common, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical tiers. The early blades only cost money, but most of the upper tier requires farming a boss for materials, earning a title, and meeting a gem cost before an NPC will sell you the weapon. Use the table to find a sword, then follow its island and requirements.

Fastest early-game sword path

The cleanest opening route uses NPC purchases that skip boss requirements entirely. These three blades carry you from your first island into the mid-game without any material grind.

Buy the Katana from the Katana Seller on Starter Island for 2,500 money. It deals 80 base damage with a fast swing and a wide reaching skill, which is enough to clear the first set of mobs quickly.
Travel to Snow Island and buy the Dark Blade for 250,000 money or 150 gems. The jump from Katana to Dark Blade is large, pushing base damage to 200, so grab it as soon as you can afford it.
Pick up the Gryphon at Shibuya Station for 650k money or 650 gems. Its area-of-effect skill clears tightly grouped enemies fast, which makes it one of the strongest farming blades you can own without quests.

Note: You can only equip one sword at a time, so there is no benefit to hoarding older blades once you have moved past them.

How to unlock Mythical swords

Most Mythical blades follow the same pattern. Each required material drops from the boss tied to that sword’s island, and each required title is a low-chance drop from a specific boss. Find the island, find the boss, and farm it until you have the materials and the title, then return to the NPC to complete the purchase.

Two swords gate the purchase behind a full quest chain rather than just materials. The Solo Hunter on Sailor Island asks you to take 15 million damage, kill 750 NPCs, deal 75 million damage, defeat 35 players in PvP, and beat the Solo Hunter boss 15 times. The Manipulator on Hollow Island requires killing 250 Hollow enemies, obtaining the Shinigami race, using 1 Worthiness Fragment, dealing 350 million damage, and defeating the Manipulator boss 15 times.

A few endgame blades are locked behind owning their predecessor. Shadow Monarch requires the Solo Hunter sword, True Manipulator requires the Manipulator sword, and Atomic requires the Shadow sword. Plan the chain before spending materials so you don’t waste resources on a sword you cannot yet buy.

Best swords in the current meta

Ice Queen and Atomic stand at the top of the sword rankings, both offering massive base damage, high mastery, and reasonably fast attack animations for consistent output. Dragon Goddess carries the highest base damage of any sword and scales further with the Dragon Queen title, which makes it a standout pick once you can farm the Sea Beasts.

If you have not reached those yet, Abyssal Empress, True Aizen, Yamato, and Escanor are strong alternatives that hold up deep into the late game. For mid-game players, any Legendary sword keeps you moving until your first Mythical drops. The simplest way to verify a new sword is working is the stat screen, which updates your equipped weapon’s base damage, speed, and mastery the moment you swap to it.
