FC 26 Fullback Force Evolution: Best Players and Full Upgrade List

The 175,000-coin right-back Evolution, its five upgrade levels, and the cards worth putting through it.

The 175,000-coin right-back Evolution, its five upgrade levels, and the cards worth putting through it.

The Fullback Force Evolution is live in FC 26, and it turns one of your right-backs into a heavy-duty defender for Ultimate Team. It costs 175,000 coins, so it is not a budget upgrade, but the returns are large across pace, physicality, passing, and tackling.

Quick answer: Put a high-rated RB with strong pace and physicality through it. Dorgu FUTTIES and Cafu GOTG Icon are the standout picks, and any card already sitting in one of your club chains gives the best long-term value.

Who can enter the Fullback Force Evolution

A card must meet every requirement below before it can be selected. The key limits are the RB position and the exclusion of any card that also lists CB.

Every upgrade across the five levels

The Evolution runs through five levels. Each one unlocks a fresh batch of stat boosts, extra Skill Moves or Weak Foot stars, and new PlayStyles. Values below are shown as the increase followed by the stat ceiling.

LevelUpgrades
1Overall +30 (97), Agility +30 (90), Balance +30 (92), Reactions +30 (95), Shot Power +50 (96), Sprint Speed +30 (96)
2Acceleration +30 (96), Long Passing +30 (95), Composure +30 (95), Skills +4, Bruiser+ (4), Rapid (7)
3Long Shots +50 (95), Free Kick +30 (90), Strength +35 (97), Vision +30 (90), Weak Foot +4, Pinged Pass+ (4)
4Aggression +35 (97), Interceptions +35 (97), Def. Aware +35 (94), Short Passing +30 (97), Intercept (7)
5Slide Tackle +35 (96), Stand Tackle +35 (98), Stamina +35 (92), Quick Step+ (4), Power Shot (7)

Each level shares the same completion task. Play one match in Squad Battles on Semi-Pro difficulty or higher, or use Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Live Events, with your active EVO card in the lineup. Five matches finish the full Evolution.

You know a level is done when the match completes and the reward screen shows the new boosts applied to the card. The player must actually be on the pitch during the match for progress to register.

Best players to use in Fullback Force Evolution

Because the Evolution pushes strength, tackling, and passing to elite ceilings, the best base cards are right-backs that already have good pace and a physical frame. The following options make the most of the 175,000-coin spend.

  • Dorgu FUTTIES
  • Cafu GOTG Icon
  • Joao Cancelo Glory Hunters
  • Dumfries Glory Hunters
  • Joao Cancelo Fantasy FC
  • Palestra TOTS
  • Valverde TOTS
  • Laimer RTTF
  • Miley Fantasy FC (multiple Evolutions required)
  • Munoz PTG
  • James TOTW
  • Livramento Showdown
  • Aursnes Showdown

Note: If any of these cards already sit in an active club chain, feed one of those into the Evolution. Chained cards return more value and slot straight into competitive modes without breaking your squad links.

The whole Evolution finishes in five easy matches, so the real decision is which right-back deserves the coins. Pick a card with a strong pace and physical base, keep an eye on your chains, and the added defending and passing ceilings will do the rest.
