FC 26 La Albiceleste: Unlock Maradona in Three Squad Battles

Beat the Featured Squad Battles squad in three matches to claim the Diego Maradona Objective reward.

Beat the Featured Squad Battles squad in three matches to claim the Diego Maradona Objective reward.

The La Albiceleste Objective in FC 26 Ultimate Team hands you a legendary Diego Armando Maradona card, but the task list looks heavier than it really is. Every challenge is played against the same “La Albiceleste” Featured Squad Battles squad, which means a single match can knock out several milestones at once. Played efficiently, the whole set closes in three games.

Quick answer: Play all matches against the La Albiceleste Featured Squad in Squad Battles. Use one Beginner game to score exactly 30 goals, one Ultimate game to win while conceding three or fewer, and one Legendary game for a clean sheet. If your Ultimate win is already a clean sheet, you can skip the third match.

Match 1: Score exactly 30 goals on Beginner

Start a Squad Battles match against the La Albiceleste Featured Squad on Beginner difficulty with your strongest attacking lineup. Beginner gives the AI almost no resistance, so you can run up the score quickly.
Keep scoring until you reach 30 goals. This single result clears four separate Buenos Aires Blitz milestones in one go.
  • Score 15 goals on exactly Beginner difficulty.
  • Score 20 goals on exactly Beginner difficulty.
  • Score 25 goals on exactly Beginner difficulty.
  • Score exactly 30 goals on exactly Beginner difficulty.

Note: Stop at 30. Going past 30 goals crashes the game, so hold the ball and play out the remaining time once you hit the target.

Match 2: Win on Ultimate while conceding three or fewer

Queue another Squad Battles game against La Albiceleste, this time on Ultimate difficulty. A win here counts for the lower difficulty requirements too, since both Professional and World Class are minimum-difficulty tasks.
Sit back defensively and protect your goal. A 4-2-3-1 (wide) shape with low depth helps you hold a compact defensive line against the tougher AI.
Close out the win with no more than three goals conceded. One result here clears three challenges at once.
  • Win 1 match on Min. Professional difficulty.
  • Win 1 match on Min. World Class difficulty.
  • Concede 3 goals or fewer on exactly Ultimate difficulty.

Match 3: Keep a clean sheet on Legendary

Play a final Squad Battles match against La Albiceleste on at least Legendary difficulty and finish it without conceding a single goal. That satisfies the Buenos Aires Blitz – Defend task.

Tip: If your Ultimate game in Match 2 already ended as a clean sheet, this Legendary task is covered, and you can skip the third match entirely to finish in two games.

La Albiceleste rewards

The main prize is the Maradona card, paired with a series of player picks. Every reward is untradeable, so nothing earned here can be sold on the Transfer Market.

Reward typeContents
Group rewardDiego Armando Maradona and a 2 of 6 89+ Rare Gold Player Pick
Sub-reward2 of 10 86+ Rare Gold Pick
Sub-reward1 of 3 88+ Rare Gold Players

How to confirm the Objective is complete

Each task ticks over in the Objectives menu as you hit its condition, and the Maradona card lands once the full group is cleared. The two failure points to watch are simple. Scoring more than 30 goals in the Beginner game crashes the match, and the Ultimate game only counts toward the defend milestone if you both win and keep your goals conceded to three or fewer. Stay inside those limits and the legend is yours in as few as three matches.
