Which wingers justify the 150,000-coin outlay, plus every stat boost and PlayStyle the five-level evolution hands out.

The Let Me Cook Evolution turns a wide player in your Ultimate Team squad into a central creator, stacking heavy passing and dribbling boosts on top of a big overall bump. It is one of the pricier upgrades in FC 26, so the card you feed into it matters more than usual.

Quick answer: Use any 96-rated or lower LM or RM that already has strong finishing and dribbling, with fewer than 10 regular PlayStyles, four or fewer PlayStyles+, and no more than five positions. TOTS Messi, End of an Era Salah, and Trophy Titans Hazard are among the strongest fits.

Cost and eligibility requirements

Unlocking the evolution costs 150,000 coins or 500 FC Points. You need to claim the requirements from the Ultimate Team Evolutions menu before 6:00 PM UTC on Thursday, August 13. Only a card that meets every condition below can be slotted in.

Every upgrade in the five levels

The upgrades arrive across five levels. Each entry shows the boost and the value it caps at. By the end, the card gains the CAM position, a lift to four-star Skill Moves, and the meta pairing of Incisive Pass+ and Finesse Shot+.

1+20 Overall (97), +30 Agility (93), +30 Balance (96), +30 Curve (95), +20 Shot Power (96), +30 Sprint Speed (94)

How to complete each level

Every level shares the same simple objective. Play one match with your active EVO player in the starting lineup, in Squad Battles on Semi-Pro difficulty or higher. Rush, Rivals, Champions, and Live Events matches also count.

Because you repeat that objective five times, you can grind the whole thing through friendly Squad Battles games without touching competitive play. A level is done once the game marks the objective complete and the next set of boosts appears on the card preview.

Note: the boosts only apply if the player is in your starting XI when the match kicks off. Leaving the EVO card on the bench will not tick the objective.

Best players to use in Let Me Cook

The evolution rewards cards that already shoot and dribble well, since it fills in the passing and playmaking side. The passing jump combined with Finesse Shot+ and Incisive Pass+ makes attacking wingers the standout choices. These picks give you the most finished product after level five.

If none of those sit in your club, plenty of other strong promo cards work well here too:

  • Vinícius Jr. Knockout Royalty and Rashford Glory Hunters
  • Ronaldinho and Henry Winter Wildcards
  • Yıldız, João Félix, and Olise TOTS
  • Musiala, Gakpo, Pulisic, and Pedro Neto Path to Glory
  • Rivaldo, Rivellino, and Figo Greats of the Game
  • Ginola Joga Bonito and Cristiano Ronaldo Time Warp

Tip: several eligible cards come from the FUTTIES Re-Release batches. Cooking one of those brings an older item back up to a competitive level you can run in Champions Finals and Division Rivals.

The price stings, but the finished card carries elite passing, a Finesse Shot+ and Incisive Pass+ combo, and a fresh CAM slot that lets a former winger drift inside and dictate play. Pick a shooter with real dribbling already baked in, and the boosts do the rest.
