The Max Sweat Evolution in FC 26 hands out one of the heaviest stat swings of the FUTTIES period, and it costs nothing to run. It slots best into an attacking wide player, layering on new PlayStyles, big pace and dribbling jumps, and a five-star Skill Moves and four-star Weak Foot ceiling by the end. The trick is picking a card that already fits the tight entry rules so the upgrades land where you want them.
Quick answer: Put a right-wing-capable card of 96 OVR or lower, with no more than three PlayStyle+, three or fewer PlayStyles above the base cap, and not listed at CB, into Max Sweat. Then play one match per level to bank all five upgrades.

A card has to clear every one of these limits to be eligible. Because the overall cap sits high at 96, you can push some genuinely strong specials into it, but the PlayStyle+ ceiling of three is where most top-end cards get blocked.
| Requirement | Limit |
|---|---|
| Overall | Max 96 |
| PlayStyle | Max 10 |
| PlayStyle+ | Max 3 |
| Position | RW |
| Excluded position | CB |
Full upgrade path by level
The Evolution runs across five levels. Each level applies a batch of stat boosts and, in the earlier stages, new PlayStyles. The overall jump of up to +30 at Level 1 is what makes lower-rated eligible cards viable, but higher-rated cards benefit too since the boosts push individual attributes toward their caps.
| Level | Key upgrades |
|---|---|
| 1 | +30 OVR (97), +3 WF (4), +30 Sprint Speed (97), +30 Curve (94), +30 Balance (96), +20 Strength, Quick Step+ (4) |
| 2 | +4 SM (5), +30 Positioning (96), +30 Short Pass (94), +30 Agility (96), +30 Dribbling (97), Rapid+ (4) |
| 3 | +30 Acceleration (97), +30 Finishing (93), +30 Vision (92), +30 Ball Control (97), Finesse Shot+ and Low Driven+ (4) |
| 4 | +30 Shot Power (94), +20 Penalties (93), +30 Crossing (92), +30 Reactions (93), +20 Stamina (94) |
| 5 | +30 Long Shots (94), +20 Volleys (93), +30 Long Pass (94), +30 Composure (93) |
By the final level you end up with a five-star Skill Moves, four-star Weak Foot winger carrying Quick Step+, Rapid+, Finesse Shot+ and Low Driven+ on top of maxed pace, dribbling, and shooting attributes.
Best players to use in Max Sweat
The strongest picks are wide attackers that already sit inside the PlayStyle+ cap and have room to soak up the speed and dribbling boosts. These cards come out as meta-ready right wingers once fully evolved.
- Paralluelo UWCL Winners
- Sarr UWFA Winners
- Salah TOTY HM
- Dembele Primetime
- Semenyo Glory Hunters
- Adeyemi Answer the Call
- Messi Time Warp
- Athenea TOTS
- Diomande TOTS Breakthrough
- Yamal Primetime
Tip: Before committing a card, check its PlayStyle+ count against the cap of three. A card that already carries four or more PlayStyle+ will not be selectable, no matter how well it fits everything else.
How to complete each level
Every one of the five levels shares the same single challenge, so progression is entirely down to game count rather than difficulty.
You will know a level has applied when the card’s stats and PlayStyles update in the Evolution screen and the next level’s challenge becomes active. If a level does not progress, the usual cause is that the boosted player was not in your active lineup for the match you played.
Because the Evolution is free and the requirements are generous at the top end, it works well as either a standalone upgrade or the opening step in a longer chain, letting you carry the finished winger into further Evolutions later.
