The Piscinin Evolution in FC 26 turns a center-back into a fast, ball-playing defender who wins headers and starts attacks. It costs 50,000 coins to unlock, runs across five levels, and adds five PlayStyles along the way. The trick is picking a base card that already does one thing well, so the boosts stack into something useful instead of being wasted.

Quick answer: Use a CB at 91 OVR or below with no more than 10 PlayStyles and 3 PlayStyle+, that is not World Tour Silver Stars rarity. Strong picks include Van de Ven (Knockout Royalty), Desailly (TOTY Icon), Sol Campbell (Trophy Titans), Nesta (Trophy Titans), and Kim Min Jae (World Tour).

How to complete each level

All five levels share the same objective. You play one match with the Evolution card active in your starting lineup. Each completed match advances you one level and applies that level’s stat boosts.

Add the active EVO player to your squad and play one match in Squad Battles on Semi-Pro difficulty or higher. Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Live Events also count.
Repeat the same one-match objective for each of the remaining levels, all the way to Level 5. There are five matches to play in total.
Keep the EVO card in your lineup the whole way through. Swapping it out between matches risks adding extra grind, so leave it in until all five levels are done.

You know a level is complete when the objective ticks over and the card’s stats jump to the new values shown below.

Best players for the Piscinin Evolution

How to choose the right base card

Match the card to the role you want it to play. The Evolution sharpens one trait far more effectively when the base stat is already high.

  • For a physical wall, start with high base strength so the +20 at Level 5 lands the card near 88-90.
  • For a defender who launches counters, choose a card with good passing and vision to take full advantage of the Long Passing +30 at Level 4 and the Short Passing boosts at Levels 2 and 5.
  • For aerial control, the Aerial Fortress PlayStyle at Level 4 and the Heading and Jumping boosts reward a tall, strong-in-the-air base.

Before paying the 50,000 coins, confirm two things. First, that the base card can reach a rarity outside World Tour Silver Stars. Second, that its existing stats point in the same direction as the boosts you care about. When both are true, the Piscinin path takes a solid center-back and turns it into one you can build a defense around.
