Release status and timing
Status: Window confirmed, players still leaked. The wider Destined for Glory campaign runs from September 25 to October 9, 2026, split into two weekly squads. Team 1 held the first slot from September 25, and Team 2 takes over from October 2 through October 9. EA has not officially published the Team 2 items yet, so individual ratings and attributes remain pre-release leaks until each card appears in-game.
The launch time follows the same schedule EA used for Team 1, with no changes to the release slot.

How the live-item upgrades work
The cards follow the same season-long format as Team 1. EA says real domestic-league results determine upgrades, with requirements based on position: combined goals and assists advance attackers and midfielders, while clean sheets count for defenders and CDMs.

At launch, packs will contain the 15 leaked cards listed above. The campaign also features SBCs, Objectives, Evolutions and Rush content beyond its pack items. Week 2 brings FC 27’s first Ultimate Gauntlet, another themed Rush event and more Evolution content.
