Ultimate Gauntlet 2 is now live in FC 27 Ultimate Team. It is a non-repeatable objective group with 10 tasks, and it pays out Gold Players Packs, two Evolutions, a Future Stars defender, and two more Future Stars cards for clearing the set. Every reward in the group is untradeable, so everything you earn stays in your club.
Quick answer: Complete any 8 of the 10 Ultimate Gauntlet 2 tasks to claim the group reward, which includes untradeable Future Stars Enciso and Future Stars Gruda.

Ultimate Gauntlet 2 group reward: Future Stars Enciso and Gruda
Finishing 8 of 10 tasks unlocks the group reward. You get two Future Stars attackers, plus two untradeable cosmetic items. Both cards are built around dribbling and work best as attacking midfielders, but each has alternate positions that make them flexible in different formations.
| Card | Rating and positions | Club and league | Face stats |
|---|---|---|---|
| Future Stars Julio César Enciso | 85 CAM, ST++ | Ipswich, Premier League | 85 PAC, 83 SHO, 84 PAS, 87 DRI, 39 DEF, 66 PHY |
| Future Stars Brajan Gruda | 84 CAM, RM++, CM++, RW++ | RB Leipzig, Bundesliga | 84 PAC, 79 SHO, 80 PAS, 89 DRI, 40 DEF, 74 PHY |
Enciso is the more direct option, with the higher shooting and passing numbers and a striker slot listed alongside CAM. He is a Paraguay international, which matters for chemistry links. Gruda trades some finishing for better dribbling and physicality, and his three alternate positions let him slot in on the right flank or deeper in midfield. He is German, so he links with the Bundesliga defender from the first task below.

The tasks fall into three groups: scoring goals across separate matches, winning a set number of matches, and winning both games in a single round. They are listed here from easiest to hardest, using the in-game task names.
| Task | Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Score 1 | Score 1 goal | Future Stars Finn Jeltsch |
| Win 1 | Win 1 match | Gamechanger Evolution |
| Score in 4 | Score in 4 separate matches | 3x 75+ Gold Players Pack, Future Stars Regular Badge Evolution |
| Win 3 | Win 3 matches | 7x 75+ Gold Players Pack |
| Win 5 | Win 5 matches | 7x 77+ Gold Players Pack |
| Perfect Round | Win both matches in one round | 7x 81+ Gold Players Pack |
| Double Perfect | Win both matches in a round, twice | 5x 82+ Gold Players Pack |
| Triple Perfect | Win both matches in a round, three times | 3x 84+ Gold Players Pack |
| Score in 10 | Score in 10 separate matches | 7x 80+ Gold Players Pack |
| Score in 14 | Score in 14 separate matches | 7x 80+ Gold Players Pack |
Future Stars Finn Jeltsch is an 85-rated CB for VfB Stuttgart with 82 PAC, 48 SHO, 70 PAS, 75 DRI, 86 DEF, and 83 PHY. He is listed as a loan item rather than a permanent card, so check the item details before building around him. The Gamechanger Evolution from Win 1 appears in the objective as a PS/PS+ reward, meaning it is tied to PlayStyles.
The “Score in” tasks count matches, not goals. Scoring five times in one game still only adds one to the counter, so a 1-0 win and a 7-0 win are worth the same.

Ultimate Gauntlet rules: squads, rounds, and bench players
Ultimate Gauntlet is a test of club depth. You can’t run the same team every game, and the restrictions catch more players than you might expect.
- Each round consists of two matches against other players.
- Every round requires a different squad from the one you just used.
- The lock covers your starting XI and your bench, including substitutes who never came on.
- A reused player blocks entry with the message “Squad must be replaced for each round.”
- A loss does not end the event. You can keep playing and keep filling task counters.
The simplest setup is two full matchday squads, each with its own XI and bench, that you alternate between. Make the second squad competitive rather than a throwaway, because the Perfect Round tasks only count when you win both matches within a single round.
Read the event description in the Ultimate Gauntlet 2 panel before your first match. It spells out exactly how long a used player stays locked, which affects whether a third squad is necessary.

Which two Ultimate Gauntlet 2 tasks to skip
Since only eight tasks count toward the group reward, you can leave two unfinished. The task chains overlap, so progress on one feeds several at once. Every Triple Perfect also clears Double Perfect and Perfect Round, and three perfect rounds alone add six wins toward Win 5.
Score in 14 and Triple Perfect are the two most demanding tasks. Score in 14 means scoring in 14 different matches, which is a long time commitment. Triple Perfect means three separate rounds with no dropped results. If you skip those two, you still need Score in 10 and Double Perfect, but you avoid the longest grind and the most unforgiving streak requirement. Skipping them costs you a 7x 80+ pack and a 3x 84+ pack.
If you win often, the trade looks different. A player who regularly sweeps rounds will clear Triple Perfect long before reaching 14 scoring matches, so skipping Score in 14 and Score in 10 instead could get you to Enciso and Gruda in fewer games.
Tracking progress and claiming Enciso and Gruda
Open FUT Objectives and select the Ultimate Gauntlet 2 group to check progress. Each task has its own counter, such as 0/14 for Score in 14 or 0/3 for Triple Perfect. The group header shows how many of the eight required tasks you have completed. Individual task rewards can be claimed as each one finishes.
Once the header reaches 8/8, claim the group reward. A “Rewards Claimed” confirmation appears, and Future Stars Enciso, Future Stars Gruda, and the cosmetic items go to your unassigned pile. The group cannot be repeated, and the countdown at the top of the objective shows how much time is left, so plan your matches around that timer rather than waiting until the final day.
