The Olympian Godbreaker gained a five-mission mastery questline in Fisch on July 11, 2026. Working through it upgrades the rod’s passives quest by quest, and finishing all five unlocks the Olympian Ascension Skin. Every mission asks you to catch a set number of fish with the rod equipped, but each one is tied to a specific hunt event or pool inside the Atlantis floors.
Quick answer: Equip the Olympian Godbreaker and complete all five quests in order — Perfect Catch 197 fish during War Surge, then catch 196 fish each in Light Beams, Storm Flood or Poseidon’s Whirlpools, Fully-Charged Water Bodies, and Soul Pools/Wisp Haunts/Soul Scourge. Each quest grants a stat buff; the final quest awards the Olympian Ascension Skin.

Unlock the Olympian Godbreaker before the mastery appears
You cannot start the questline until you own the rod. That means finishing the bestiary across all six Atlantis floors, reaching the Olympian Fissure, and buying the rod for 50,000,000 C$. Obtaining it also rewards 20,000 XP in the Rod Journal. Once the rod sits in your inventory, its mastery quests become available.

The Olympian Godbreaker must be the rod you have equipped for every catch to count. Each quest adds to an existing enhancement, and every mission includes a +2% Olympian chance boost on top of its unique effect.
| Quest | Objective | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| War Against Bellona | Perfect Catch 197 fish during War Surge | +2% Olympian chance, +3% Progress (Gravity Pull) |
| Apollo’s Appeal | Catch 196 fish in Light Beams | +2% Olympian chance, −0.15 to 0.0981 Control during Starcaller Cry |
| Poseidon’s Pantheon | Catch 196 fish during Storm Flood or in Poseidon’s Whirlpools | +2% Olympian chance, +2 catch duration on Disturbance buff (Starcaller Cry) |
| Zeus! Your Child has returned | Catch 196 fish in Fully-Charged Water Bodies | +2% Olympian chance, +1 fish (Starcaller Cry) |
| Hades’ Hatred | Catch 196 fish in Soul Pools, Wisp Haunts, or during Soul Scourge | +2% Olympian chance, −75% to −60% Fixed Progress Speed on Progress Locked fish |
How to trigger each quest’s event
War Against Bellona: War Surge is a limited hunt that appears naturally through Disturbance in the Bellona’s Frenzy of War pool. To force it, fish with the Champions Rod, then switch to the Olympian Godbreaker and land 197 Perfect Catches while the surge is active.
Apollo’s Appeal: Wait for the Light Beams event in Apollo’s Song of Light, then catch 196 fish with the Godbreaker equipped. Standard catches count here, so there is no Perfect Catch requirement.
Poseidon’s Pantheon: Storm Flood is another Disturbance-driven hunt. Fish with the Poseidon Rod to bring it on, or head to Poseidon’s Whirlpools. Either location counts toward the 196 catches with the Olympian Godbreaker.
Zeus! Your Child has returned: Lightning periodically strikes the ponds in Zeus’s Thunder of Chaos, charging them up. Fish those Fully-Charged Water Bodies with the Godbreaker to reach 196 catches.
Hades’ Hatred: This final mission accepts catches from Soul Pools, Wisp Haunts, or the Soul Scourge event. Bring the Olympian Godbreaker and pull in 196 fish across any of those to close out the questline.
How to confirm the mastery is done
Each quest applies its stat buff the moment you hit the required catch count, so the rod’s passives strengthen as you progress. Clearing the fifth quest, Hades’ Hatred, marks the mastery as complete and grants the Olympian Ascension Skin, the golden showcase reward for the rod. If a quest is not ticking up, check that the Olympian Godbreaker is the equipped rod and that the correct event or pool is active, since catches with any other rod do not count.
FAQs
Do I need the rod before the mastery unlocks?
Yes. Complete the Atlantis bestiary, reach the Olympian Fissure, and purchase the Olympian Godbreaker for 50,000,000 C$ first. The quests only appear after you own it.
How many quests are in the mastery?
Five. Each one asks you to catch fish with the rod during a specific event or in a designated pool, and every completion improves the rod’s stats.
What is the final reward?
Finishing all five quests unlocks the exclusive Olympian Ascension Skin, on top of the stat enhancements handed out along the way.
Because the buffs stack per quest, working through the missions in the order listed keeps the rod improving as you grind, and by the time you reach Hades’ Hatred the Olympian Godbreaker is already at its strongest before the skin drops.
