Fisch: The Best Enchant for the Trident Striker Is Barbed

Barbed pairs with the harpoon's auto-click passive to finish pulls faster and trigger its 4x Atlantean mutation more often.

The Trident Striker is a harpoon gun in Fisch built for fast, low-effort catches. It already handles pulls partly on its own, so the enchant you put on it should push that automation further rather than fix a weak stat. That is exactly what Barbed does.

Quick answer: Enchant the Trident Striker with Barbed. It adds a 10% chance for any pull to finish instantly, which stacks with the harpoon’s built-in 12.5% chance to auto-click a pull button and lets you complete catches with almost no manual input.

Trident Striker base stats

The harpoon carries strong numbers across the board and has no crippling weakness that a single enchant would need to patch over. That is why you can spend the enchant slot on a convenience effect instead of a stat fix.

Why Barbed is the best pick

The Trident Striker has a passive that gives it a 12.5% chance to click a pull button for you during the minigame. Barbed layers a second automation on top of that, granting a 10% chance for any pull to complete instantly.

Run together, these two effects cut down the manual clicking a catch normally requires. On many pulls the harpoon either taps the button itself or ends the pull outright, so you spend far less effort per fish and move through catches quicker.

Faster catches feed the Atlantean mutation

The Trident Striker also has a 30% chance to apply the Atlantean mutation with a 4x value multiplier. That roll happens per catch, so the more catches you finish in a given stretch, the more chances you get at the mutation.

Barbed matters here beyond convenience. By ending pulls faster, it raises how many fish you land over time, which directly increases how often the 4x Atlantean roll can trigger. Speed and mutation frequency are tied together on this weapon.

The second slot stays open

Barbed handles the main enchant slot. The second cosmic slot is flexible, so tailor it to whatever you are targeting, whether that is a specific fish or a general farming setup. There is no fixed requirement for that slot, which keeps the build adaptable.

How to enchant the Trident Striker

Harpoon guns are enchanted at the same place as fishing rods, the Keepers Altar beneath the Statue of Sovereignty. The altar only works at night, and each enchant consumes one Relic.

Secure a Relic. Enchant Relics can be fished up anywhere at a flat 1/350 chance, and once you pass Level 30 you can buy them from Merlin for 11,000 C$.

Travel to the Statue of Sovereignty and talk to Cole. Pay 400 C$ for a single token or 100,000 C$ for unlimited access, then take the elevator down to the Keepers Altar.
Hold the Trident Striker and interact with the altar at night. To enchant a harpoon rather than a rod, you must be holding the harpoon when you use the altar. The Relic is consumed and a random enchant is applied.

Note: The enchant you receive is random, so you may need several Relics before Barbed lands. Because rolled enchants are pulled from the pool as they appear, repeated attempts eventually reach every option, so keep applying Relics until Barbed shows up. If you own the Enchant Anywhere gamepass, you can skip the altar trip and enchant from any location.

You will know it worked when the harpoon’s name shows the colored Barbed prefix in your inventory, with the enchant details listed above the hot bar while it is equipped.
