Fischfest 2 is the second-year summer event pool in Fisch, and it comes with its own island and a fresh Bestiary set of 34 limited catches. Every entry is tagged as Limited, which means it only counts toward completion if you hook or collect it yourself while the event runs. Each fish has its own bait, weather, season, and time requirements, so finishing the pool is mostly about lining up the right conditions.
Quick answer: Travel to the Fischfest 2 Island by touching the pink Fischfest 2 Clam next to the Moosewood leaderboard, then catch or beach-collect all 34 listed entries using their exact bait, weather, and timing. The season at the island is locked to Summer, so you only need to match weather and time of day.
How to reach the Fischfest 2 Island
The fastest route is through the Fischfest 2 Clam. It sits right beside the leaderboard on Moosewood. If you are somewhere else, hop on a boat and head to (350, 135, 250) to get back to Moosewood, then touch the pink Clam to teleport onto the event island.

Once you have cleared 50% of the Fischfest 2 Bestiary, you unlock a second option. You can equip the Magical Conch and use it to teleport straight to the island, skipping the trip back to Moosewood entirely.

The pool splits into two kinds of entries. Most fish are caught the usual way by casting in the water around the island, with the right bait and conditions raising your odds. A second group of beach items, like the Beach Bucket and Plastic Shovel, can either be fished up or picked up directly off the shoreline if you would rather walk the coast.
Two catches live in dedicated pools at fixed coordinates rather than the open water. The Chillin’ Crab is at (-24727, 2595, -4515) and the Crabby Coconut is at (-24021, 2594, -4244). Stand at those spots and cast there with the listed bait.
Tip: Several fish call for Tropical Sun weather, which is the event’s signature clear-sky condition. The season stays on Summer the whole time, so you can ignore season entirely and focus on matching weather and the day or night window.

Verifying your completion and common misses
Open your Bestiary book and switch to the Fischfest 2 tab to track your progress percentage. Each new species or item you catch ticks the counter up, and the 50% mark is what flips the Magical Conch into a teleport shortcut for the island.
If a catch is not registering, the usual reasons are simple. Fish you receive from another player through trading do not count toward your own completion, so you have to hook each one yourself. Night-only and day-only entries also need you to be fishing in that exact window, so a fish like the BBQ Bass or Cooler Catfish will not appear during the day. Finally, weather-gated catches need that weather active, so wait for Tropical Sun, Foggy, Windy, Rain, or Clear to roll around before casting for the matching fish.
One entry, listed as TBA, has not been revealed yet, so its bait and conditions are still unknown. Everything else in the pool can be cleared right now by working through the weather and time windows, and the steadiest approach is to bank the no-requirement beach items first, then chase the day and night fish as the right weather appears.
