The 41.10 update is the first big content drop for Chapter 7 Season 3, and it packs a lot into one patch. You get five fresh Sprites, the return of Fortnite OG with Season 9, a summer event called Gone Wild, a new soccer-themed location, and an Olivia Rodrigo crossover. Here is what changes once the servers come back online.
Quick answer: The 41.10 update goes live after downtime on June 25, 2026 at 4 AM ET, with servers expected back around 7 AM ET. When you log in, you can jump into OG Season 9, start the Gone Wild quests, and collect the new Sprites.
Release time: June 25, 2026 at 4:00 AM ET
When the 41.10 update goes live and downtime details
Matchmaking turns off first, and other Epic services go down about 30 minutes before the main downtime starts at 4 AM ET on June 25, 2026. The servers are expected to stay offline for roughly two to three hours, so you should be able to play again by about 7 AM ET. You will need to install the patch before you can rejoin.
Fortnite OG Season 9 and the futuristic map

OG Season 8 wraps up, and 41.10 pushes Fortnite OG into its futuristic chapter with Season 9. This brings back fan-favorite spots like Neo Tilted and Mega Mall, along with Slipstreams for fast movement across the map. It is the late-game stretch of the OG run, so it carries the tech-heavy feel that defined the original Season 9.
The OG loot pool also gets a refresh. The Drum Shotgun and Tactical Assault Rifle join the rotation, and the OG Infinity Blade sticks around after being freed during the Unvaulting event.
The Fortnite OG Season 9 Pass adds remixed takes on returning skins:
- Devourer Remix
- Rox Remix
- Demi Remix
Gone Wild summer event dates and rewards

The Gone Wild summer event starts with this patch and runs from June 25, 2026 through July 9, 2026. It brings a fresh batch of quests to complete, and the map fills out with more Golden Fishing Spots, campfires, and the Firework Flaregun, plus other summer touches.
Five new Sprites and how to get them

Five new Sprites enter the loot pool, each with its own Sprite Power and its own way to unlock. Here is what each one does and where it comes from.
| Sprite | Effect and how to get it |
|---|---|
| Boss Sprite | Raises your maximum Health and Shield. A rare drop from defeating bosses. |
| Stalker Sprite | Gives an Overdrive buff each time you mantle or hurdle. Unlocked by scoring a goal at the new Soccer Pitch POI. |
| Fishy Sprite | Big boost to base swimming speed, with an extra boost when an enemy damages you. |
| Aura Sprite | Grants an automatic Shock Rock charge after you deal a set amount of damage to an enemy. |
| Grim Reaper Sprite | Marks an enemy on the map when they shoot at you, so you can react and fight back. |
There is also a Galaxy Hour on June 27, 2026, which raises your chances of finding Galaxy Sprites during that window.
Shock Rocks: triple jump and 25 HP

Shock Rocks join the loot pool and lean into the Runners theme. The item gives you three extra mid-air jumps, with each jump going higher than the last and breaking nearby builds as you launch. Consuming it also restores 25 HP.
New Soccer Pitch POI and the Striker Sprite
A new Soccer Pitch POI lands on the Chapter 7 Season 3 map, continuing the in-game tie-in with the ongoing World Cup that began with the Celebration Ball back bling. You can actually play soccer here, and scoring a goal gives you a shot at the Striker Sprite.
Olivia Rodrigo collab and Jam Tracks

After a long run of fan requests, Olivia Rodrigo joins Fortnite with this patch. The crossover is expected to include several skins and cosmetics tied to her latest album, plus a set of her songs available as Jam Tracks in the Item Shop.
July Crew Pack and new weekly quests
The update also gives the first look at the July 2026 Fortnite Crew Pack. Details on the skin are thin so far, but the bundle should arrive with the usual cosmetics, free V-Bucks, and access to the Battle Pass and Rocket Pass Premium.
On top of that, a new set of Chapter 7 Season 3 weekly quests goes live. Completing them moves the season story forward and feeds XP into your Battle Pass.
Between OG Season 9, the Gone Wild event, and the Sprite additions, 41.10 gives you plenty to chase once downtime ends on June 25. Plan your first session around whichever reward matters most to you, since several of them are time-limited.
