Fortnite Bat Cave Location and How to Get Inside

The Bat Cave sits beneath Wonkeeland with two entrances, chests, and the Batman Beach Buggy during the Hot Bat Summer event.

The Hot Bat Summer collaboration dropped Batman’s headquarters onto the Chapter 7 Season 3 map, tucked underground at Wonkeeland. It is a hidden point of interest rather than a named landmark, so you won’t spot it from the Battle Bus. You have to drop in and find one of the two ways down.

Quick answer: The Bat Cave is directly below Wonkeeland. Land at the park, walk to the tree with the red STOP sign near the center, and ride the ascender down the hole to reach the cave. You can also enter from the beach on the shoreline south of Wonkeeland.

Where the Bat Cave is on the map

The Bat Cave is built underneath the Wonkeeland amusement park, on the stretch of beach between Wonkeeland and the Golden Grove POI. Nothing on the surface points to it, which is why plenty of players run right past. The underground base runs beneath the park, with tunnels connecting the entrances to Batman’s main room.

Because it is concealed, the cave stays open for the whole match. You don’t need to finish any quest first, and you can rotate in and out through either entrance whenever you want.

The two entrances to the Bat Cave

There are two main ways in, plus a concealed opening in the cliff face to the east that rival teams sometimes use. Pick the entrance based on how busy the drop looks.

Wonkeeland ascender entrance

Land in the center of Wonkeeland and look for the tree with a red STOP sign, in front of the BOOTS building and the Corndawg’s Sauce Express entrance.
Take the orange ascender running down the large hole. It carries you straight into the tunnel system below the park.
Follow the straight tunnels forward. Open the chest as you descend, then keep heading in until you reach Batman’s main room.

Beach shoreline entrance

Land on the beach along the shoreline south of Wonkeeland and make your way toward the cave opening in the sand.

Grab the loot chest sitting just outside the cave before you go in. This is the safer route when the area is a hot drop, since you can gear up and defend the doorway.
Walk through the entrance and follow the passage inside to join up with the main hideout.

What you’ll find inside the Bat Cave

The interior is a themed loot spot rather than a puzzle vault. There are no secret loot rooms or challenges to solve. What you get is a set of standard chests, floor loot spread through the base, and a handful of Batman easter eggs to look at.

ChestsSeveral standard chest spawns throughout the cave

Batman Beach BuggyThe event’s version of the Batmobile, drivable out along the beach

If the cave is calm and no one is hunting you, you can climb into the Batman Beach Buggy and drive it out onto the sand. Watch your corners, though, because the layout gives campers plenty of hiding spots. Keep your shields and health topped off before you push deeper.

Does the Bat Cave boost your Batman Sprite chances?

No. The chests here behave like any other chest on the island. Repeated runs through the cave do not produce a raised drop rate for the Batman Sprite, so treat it as a normal loot location rather than a farming spot for that reward. The chests you open while descending the ascender are your best chance, and even those carry standard odds.

The Hot Bat Summer event runs through August, so the cave could see more additions in the weeks ahead. For now it works as a quieter landing choice with solid loot, a fun vehicle, and a route underground while most players stay busy on the surface of Wonkeeland.
