Fortnite Chaos Cube Locations - Path of the Voyager (Chapter 7 Season 2)

Chaos Cubes are the small orange cubes scattered across the Chapter 7 Season 2 island, left behind as traces of the Dark Voyager's movement. Picking one up grants 4,000 XP and counts toward the Path of the Voyager quest, which asks you to collect 70 cubes in total for an 80,000 XP bonus on the Showdown Battle Pass.

Quick answer: 70 Chaos Cubes are placed in clusters of five across 14 areas. Get close to one and a marker with an exclamation mark pops on your mini-map, then interact to collect it.

How Chaos Cubes work

The cubes sit on everyday props inside each named location: chairs, beds, tents, kitchen counters, statues, and even bathtubs. Some are tucked inside breakable containers like coolers or crates, and a few require you to smash walls or drop through glass floors to reach them.

Each cube gives 4,000 XP on pickup. Completing the full set of 70 awards a one-time 80,000 XP boost tied to the Path of the Voyager quest line. Cubes you collect persist across matches, so you can clear them at your own pace over multiple drops.

Latte Landing (5 cubes)

• Between the two tents along the northwest cliffside.
• On the deck of the half-sunken boat.
• Third-floor office, on a desk in the southwest corner.
• Sitting on the swing set at the eastern edge.
• Inside the blue tent at the southern tip.

Fore Fields (5 cubes)

• Top of the flagpole on the small northeastern island, reachable by swimming.
• Beside a golf bag near the "300" sign in the northwest.
• On a board game inside the southern building.
• Inside the red cooler at the southwest tent. Break the cooler to grab it.
• On the sailboat in the southeast water.

Dark Dominion (5 cubes)

• Inside the small black structure northeast of the POI. Break the western glass wall to enter.
• Below the Zero Point Shard, on a pillar reached by dropping through the glass floor.
• Inside the outdoor grill behind the westernmost red building to the southeast.
• In the bathtub of the blue-roofed home south of the main area.
• On the fireplace mantel inside the red-roofed house in the southern vineyard.

Battlewood Boulevard (5 cubes)

• Second floor of the northeastern building, next to a film projector.
• Top of the rock climbing wall in the northwestern corner.
• Inside the kiddie pool beside the central bridge.
• On a table inside the house at the far southeastern edge.
• Inside the standalone building southwest of the main strip.

Wonkeeland (5 cubes)

• Second floor of the dockside building at the northwestern tip, hidden in a box.
• Ground floor beneath the Wonkeeland slide. The north-facing door is the fastest entry.
• Top of the westernmost summit above Wonkeeland.
• Floating above the Wonkeeland statue near the main gates.
• In a bush next to the small standalone building.

Humble Hills (5 cubes)

• On the Peely statue inside the northwestern building.
• Hovering over the pool at the northeastern house.
• On the hot tub lid at the southeastern residence.
• Inside Uncle Pete's Pizza Pit truck, north of the Battlewood sign.
• On the back of the letter "A" on the giant Battlewood sign.

Sus Studios (5 cubes)

• Stage 2 (westernmost studio), on the cooking show set among the gnomes and mini-robots.
• Stage 1 in the central building, perched on scaffolding above the sets.
• Second floor office area of the easternmost building.
• Inside Cosmic Durrr Burger, northeast of the studios.
• Under the mechanical arm of the construction vehicle at Sandy Bridge.

Painted Palms (5 cubes)

• Under a canopy next to the crashed saucer, west of Painted Palms in the snow.
• Inside the food truck on the western edge.
• Inside Kendano Cheeves' private trailer on the south side.
• Under the painted boulder with the zipline.
• Inside the mouth of the giant plant near the northeastern airship wreckage.

New Sanctuary (5 cubes)

• Inside the pool of the large white structure south of Sus Studios.
• Hidden roadside room northeast of the POI.
• Beneath the UFO wreckage on the beach south of New Sanctuary.
• Inside the trailer near Builder's Barracks, between Fore Fields and New Sanctuary.
• At the bottom of the New Sanctuary vault.

Ripped Tides (5 cubes)

• Under a purple beach umbrella south of Ripped Tides.
• Inside the shark statue's mouth in the western district.
• On a chair inside the building on the eastern edge.
• In a wooden crate at the small metal outpost northeast of the POI.
• In a bush beside the wooden shack north of Ripped Tides.

Elites Outpost (5 cubes)

• Top of the conveyor belt at the sawmill building.
• Just outside the northwestern structure of the outpost.
• Inside a yellow tent on the river banks. Break the tent to grab it.
• On the tree log ramp southeast of the outpost.
• On a red couch inside a riverside building near the bridge.

Sandy Strip (5 cubes)

• East down the stairs near the rivalry board, through the piped tunnel, then right into the drop hole at the end.
• On a couch inside a rooftop cabana at the massive black neon-lit building.
• First-floor sauna of the Ancient Greek-themed building.
• Second-floor game table inside the building, connected to the giant clock tower.
• Take the indoor zipline down, first doorway on the right, then right again.

Squibbly Shores (5 cubes)

• On a bed in the stilt house over the water on the west side.
• Inside a giant clam southeast of the lighthouse.
• Inside the stone building ruins, next to a large rock. Smash the wall to enter.
• On a second-floor chair inside the shop with the giant cleaver and Fishstick's head on the sign.
• On a chair inside Whale Tales, the southernmost building, just south of Barnacle Bodega.

Frigid Fortress (5 cubes)

• On the second-floor table of the easternmost building.
• In the hot tub of the southernmost room on the bottom floor of the red-roofed house.
• On the horse statue on the bottom floor of the southeastern tower.
• Through the opening on the south side of the ice wall, then take a left.
• Approach the cliff from the east to find a wooden doorway leading into a cave with Trog and the cube.

Path of the Voyager reward and confirmation

Each cube triggers a pickup animation and a 4,000 XP popup. Quest progress updates immediately in the Path of the Voyager tracker. Once the counter hits 70/70, the quest awards an 80,000 XP completion bonus to the Showdown Battle Pass.

Season Showdown stays active through June 5th, 2026, so there is still time to clear the full set across multiple drops. Soloing the list is doable, but Team Rumble or Zero Build runs make it easier to sweep entire POIs without combat pressure interrupting the search.
