WG-22 is an iconic Gonk-type droid tied to the Gonk Army Event in Fortnite Droid Tycoon, the Week 2 beat of the month-long Gonk-O-Ween celebration. It only exists as a reward inside a single 24-hour window, and earning it changes how often your factory produces Flawless droids. You unlock it by crafting Gonk-variant droids and handing them to the giant WG-22 NPC.
Quick answer: Craft Gonk droids and deliver them to the WG-22 event NPC while the Gonk Army Event is live. Higher-rarity droids give more event progress, and the first milestone hands you WG-22.
Gonk Army Event window and active boosts
The Gonk Army Event runs for only 24 hours. It opened at 4:00 AM ET on October 10 and closes at 4:00 AM ET on October 11. Because the window is so tight, WG-22 can be unlocked only while the event is live. Once the timer runs out, the droid and its reward track are gone.
While the event is active, three multipliers apply across the whole map. These stack with the pace of the event itself and make the crafting loop far quicker than normal.
- 2x Credits
- 2x Pickaxe
- 2x Crafting Speed
An optional Event Pass sells for 300 V-Bucks and grants 2x event progress plus +0.5x to all event boosts. It is consumable and usable only inside this experience, so buy it only if you plan to grind the full reward track.

WG-22 is earned through deliveries, not bought directly. The loop is the same one you already know from the factory: pull blueprints, build them, and turn them in. Only Gonk-variant droids count toward the event.

Rarity decides how fast you reach the milestone. A common droid adds a small amount, while Rare, Epic, and Rainbow variants add far more per turn-in, and the Event Pass doubles whatever you earn.
| Droid rarity | Progress without pass | Progress with Event Pass |
|---|---|---|
| Common | +2 | +4 |
| Rare / Epic / Rainbow | +8 to +16 | Higher still |
Because high-rarity droids can be worth four to eight times a common one, prioritizing them is the quickest route to the unlock.
Conveyor Overload and the Gonk Army meter
A shared lobby counter sits beside your personal progress. Depositing 30 Gonks fills the Gonk Army meter and triggers a 60-second “Conveyor Overload.” Mini-Gonk droids electrify the Sandcrawler conveyor belts, and a Variant Boost kicks in that rapidly spawns rare and Kyber blueprints.

Use that minute to snatch the higher-tier blueprints, since those feed straight back into more valuable turn-ins. Lobbies get crowded during the window, so move fast before other players clear the belt.
Confirming the WG-22 unlock
When your deliveries hit the first milestone, the “REWARD! WG-22” screen appears and the droid enlists. You know it landed when WG-22 joins your roster as an iconic Gonk droid in the companion menu, where it is tagged Iconic. The Sandcrawler Variant Boosts also become active for the rest of the event.

From that point its Flawless perk applies to your crafting automatically. You do not need to equip anything extra for the perk itself to work.
What WG-22 does: the Flawless perk and 8x stacking
WG-22 is a Battle-type droid with a 15%/s speed stat and a single perk that matters for crafting.
| Type | Battle |
| Speed | 15%/s |
| Droid perk | 2x Flawless Chance |
The perk doubles your chance to craft a Flawless droid. On its own that is a 2x multiplier, but it is built to combine with two other Flawless sources that run at the same time. Each one multiplies rather than adds, so they compound into a single large number.
| Source | Flawless multiplier |
|---|---|
| WG-22 perk | 2x |
| Event Flawless boost | 2x |
| Flawless Charm (Nova Shop) | 2x |
| Combined total | 8x |
With all three in play, the combined result is an 8x chance to craft Flawless droids. The Flawless Charm is a Nova Shop upgrade, so buying it before the event is what lets the full multiplier go live the moment WG-22 unlocks.
That higher rate is the whole reason players chase the droid. Flawless droids sit at the top of the crafting ladder, and the boosted chance makes it practical to build top-tier purple Kyber Mythic Flawless droids. It also feeds the paint unlocks, with Super Flawless Paint requiring 50 collected Flawless droids.
Rewards beyond WG-22
WG-22 is only the first reward. Keep delivering past the unlock, leaning on Rare and Rainbow droids, and later milestones pay out Crafting Boost Tokens, Halloween Treats, and Nova Crystals.

Treats are the event currency, collected from Trick or Treat stations at other players’ bases and at Jawa homes across the desert. They are spent in the Gonk-O-Ween Event Shop on limited-time hats, auras, costumes, paints, and a month pass. Because the Gonk Army Event closes at 4:00 AM ET on October 11, WG-22 and its stacked Flawless chance are reachable only inside that window, so secure the droid first and farm the rest after.
