That ominous countdown sitting in your Fortnite lobby is pointing at Gummy Hour, a limited-time event in Chapter 7 Season 3 that floods the island with extra Gummy Sprites and hands every player a stack of survival perks the moment they jump off the bus. If you still haven’t tracked down a Gummy Sprite, these windows are the best chance you’ll get this weekend.

Quick answer: Gummy Hour runs in two separate two-hour blocks on June 20, 2026, from 2 PM to 4 PM ET and again from 9 PM to 11 PM ET. During each block, Gummy Sprite spawns are boosted, everyone starts with a Self-Revive and the Mythic Limitless Seven Sliders, health regenerates after your shields break, and extractions pay out double Sprite Dust.

Fortnite Gummy Hour schedule for June 20

There are two identical windows, each lasting a full two hours rather than the single hour older Power Hours usually got. The first kicks off at 2 PM ET, and the second comes back the same day at 9 PM ET. Any match you start inside a window keeps the bonuses until that match ends, even if the timer runs out mid-game.

Every Gummy Hour booster

The boosters are what turn a normal Battle Royale match into a faster, grindier scramble. The big one is the spawn rate. Every Gummy Sprite variant, including the rarer sub-variants, drops more often while the event is live, so looting aggressively beats sitting in a building.

BoosterWhat it does
Gummy Sprite drop rateAll Gummy Sprite variants spawn far more frequently across the map.
Starting loadoutEvery player drops in carrying a Self-Revive and the Mythic Limitless Seven Sliders.
Health regenerationYour health starts refilling automatically the instant your shields are broken.
Extraction bonusYou earn double (2x) Sprite Dust from every successful extraction.

How the boosters change each match

Combat is the part you need to rethink. Because health regenerates the moment shields pop, cracking someone’s shield no longer means much unless you finish the fight immediately. Give an opponent a few seconds behind cover and they’ll heal back up, so commit to pushes instead of trading pot shots.

The free Self-Revive removes a lot of the risk from going down, and the Mythic Limitless Seven Sliders give everyone strong mobility from the start. That mobility is useful for both bailing out of a bad fight and rotating quickly toward fresh Sprite spawns. Expect a lot more third-party pushes, since every other player has the same safety net.

The whole loop rewards hoarding and extracting. Grab Sprites early, carry them to an extraction point, and cash out before the timer ends. With the 2x Sprite Dust multiplier stacked on top of the higher spawn rate, both windows are the quickest way to push seasonal progress.

How to know Gummy Hour is active

You’ll know it’s running before you even queue. The lobby shows a live countdown ahead of each window, and once a block goes live, you’ll spawn into your match already holding the Self-Revive and Limitless Seven Sliders. If you drop in without those two items in your inventory, the window isn’t active yet, and you should check the table above for your region’s start time.

With two chances on the calendar, the smart play is to lock in whichever window suits you, land somewhere with strong loot near known Sprite spawns, and prioritize extractions over kills while the multipliers are live.
