Fortnite: How to Unlock the Free At Your Service Spray and Hunk of Junk Emoticon

Two free cosmetics are up for grabs during the Star Wars Smugglers Gambit campaign in Fortnite. The “At Your Service” spray and the “Hunk of Junk” emoticon are handed out as Twitch Drops, so you earn them by watching participating streams rather than playing matches or buying anything.

Quick answer: Link your Epic Games and Twitch accounts, then watch a participating Smugglers Gambit stream for 15 minutes to unlock the “At Your Service” spray and 30 minutes total to unlock the “Hunk of Junk” emoticon. Claim both from your Twitch Drops inventory before the campaign ends on Friday, August 21.

Reward requirements and watch times

Both drops track your total watch time across any participating channel. You do not need to sit through one stream in a single session, and progress adds up as long as your accounts stay linked.

The 30 minutes for the emoticon is cumulative, so the 15 minutes you already spent earning the spray counts toward it.

Link your Epic Games and Twitch accounts first

Drops will not register unless your Twitch account is connected to your Epic Games account. Do this before you start watching, or your watch time will not deliver anything to Fortnite.

Sign in to your Epic Games account and open the Apps and Accounts (connections) page. Find the Twitch option in the list of linkable services.

Link your accounts on Epic Games

Click Connect next to Twitch and follow the prompt to authorize the link. You can also complete this from the Drops and Rewards page on Twitch by using the Connect button there.

Confirm the connection shows as active on both sides. Once linked, your watch time will start counting toward the drops automatically.

Watch a participating Smugglers Gambit stream

Only certain creators carry the drops, and they need to be live and streaming the Smugglers Gambit campaign for your time to count. The participating channels are HappyHappyGal, Clix, and SypherPK.

Open one of the participating channels on Twitch. Check that the stream is live and shows the Smugglers Gambit drop enabled on the broadcast.

Keep the stream open and playing. Leave it running until you pass the 15-minute mark for the spray and reach 30 minutes total for the emoticon.

Watch your progress bars on the Twitch Drops and Rewards page. If one streamer goes offline before you finish, switch to another participating channel and your accumulated time carries over.

Claim the rewards and confirm they unlocked

Hitting the watch-time goal does not deposit the item on its own. Each drop has to be claimed manually once it is ready.

When a reward is unlocked, a Twitch notification appears. Open the notifications menu or the Drops inventory page and press Claim for the spray, then again for the emoticon.

Load into Fortnite after claiming. The “At Your Service” spray and “Hunk of Junk” emoticon will appear in your locker, confirming the delivery worked.

If nothing shows up, the usual cause is an unlinked or mismatched account connection, or claiming was skipped. Re-check that Twitch and Epic Games are connected, then claim any pending drop again.

Campaign deadline

The Smugglers Gambit drops run out on Friday, August 21 at 5:59 PM GMT+2. Because streamers need to be live for progress to count, it is safer to finish your watch time by August 20 rather than waiting for the final hours.

Both cosmetics are free, so as long as your accounts are linked and you claim before the window closes, the spray and emoticon are yours to keep.
