Charlie Morningstar, the Princess of Hell and founder of Hazbin Hotel, is now a Fortnite outfit. She arrived with the first wave of Hazbin Hotel cosmetics during Fortnitemares 2026, alongside Alastor and Vagatha. The outfit is called Princess Charlie Morningstar. It ships with a small kit of matching items, including a cat-shaped back bling, a trident pickaxe, a dance emote, and a weapon wrap that grins at you.
Quick answer: Princess Charlie Morningstar is an Epic outfit sold in the Fortnite Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. It went live October 16 at 8PM ET and is listed to leave the shop on October 26.
Princess Charlie Morningstar price and Item Shop window
The outfit went on sale with the Item Shop reset at 5PM PT / 8PM ET on Friday, October 16. That was midnight UTC on October 17, so players in Europe, Asia, and Oceania saw it appear on the 17th. This is its first appearance in the shop. It can be bought on its own or as part of a bundle, and the standalone listing is on the Princess Charlie Morningstar Item Shop page.

The bundle exists, but its final V-Bucks price is not confirmed. Any figure that circulated before launch was an estimate.

The outfit uses Charlie’s familiar look from the show. She wears a red tuxedo with a white shirt and a black bowtie, and her blonde hair is gathered into puffy sections. The Locker shows the full model, and the colors carry over well to Fortnite’s art style.

Four other items are built around her. Each one is tagged as part of the Hazbin Hotel set and introduced in Chapter 7, Season 4.
| Item | Type | Notable trait |
|---|---|---|
| KeeKee | Back Bling | Animated idle movement |
| Charlie’s Trident | Pickaxe | Trident harvesting tool |
| A Happy Day… | Emote | Dance emote |
| Hazbin Grin | Wrap | Reactive, animated |
KeeKee is a black cat that is also a key, and its description sums it up as “a cat, a key, and a hotel all at once.” It moves on its own while you stand still, so it does not sit frozen on Charlie’s back.

Charlie’s Trident is her pickaxe. It works as a regular harvesting tool and makes a solid melee prop in her hand.

A Happy Day… is a dance emote, and its description nods to the show’s setting with “Another happy day in… you know where.” Hazbin Grin is a red weapon wrap that is both animated and reactive, which means it changes on the weapon during play instead of staying a flat texture.

The wider Hazbin Hotel set covers more than Charlie’s items. It also includes the Alastor and Vagatha outfits, Vagatha’s Spear pickaxe, and Alastor’s Smile Slippers, among others. Dataminers had most of the lineup figured out before launch.
Princess Charlie Morningstar gameplay in Zero Build and Blitz Royale
Locker previews only show so much. Early-access footage on the spawn island and in live matches shows how the outfit reads at normal camera distance. With the trident out, Charlie’s silhouette stays easy to recognize, and the red suit stands out against most environments.

The first test, a Zero Build Solo Battle Royale match, ended quickly. After landing near the corrupted biome and looting, the player was eliminated in a fight and placed #88. The second run was a Blitz Royale solo match. Before the bus left, the player removed KeeKee to show the outfit’s back without the back bling. The drop went to Retail Row, starting from a water tower and moving into fights across the rooftops and streets.

The rest of the match moved through a shadow-style flight mobility item, a launch pad to an airdrop, and rotations into the final circle. Partway through, the player stopped in the open to run A Happy Day… in a live lobby and scored the skin a 9.3 out of 10. The final fights happened around a bubble shield. The last elimination came from a mix of shotgun and Charlie’s Trident, and it ended in a Victory Royale.
None of the set’s items affect gameplay, as with every Fortnite cosmetic. The footage shows how Charlie looks in a match, not how she performs. The outfit, pickaxe, back bling, emote, and wrap all appear in real matches, and nothing in them looks out of place next to the rest of Fortnite’s lineup.
For anyone weighing the purchase, the main facts are 1,500 V-Bucks for the outfit, a single style, and a shop window that currently runs to October 26. Charlie also works outside Battle Royale. She is usable in Fortnite Festival and Reload, so the outfit is not limited to one mode.
