Fortnite Spider-Man NPC Location (The Battlewoods)

The Spider-Man NPC in Fortnite has a single, fixed spawn point, so tracking him down is straightforward once you know which building to climb. He sits at The Battlewoods, reads out a few in-character lines, and can be recruited as a hired follower during a Battle Royale match.

Quick answer: Land at The Battlewoods, head to the easternmost building nearest the main road (the one draped in spiderwebs), climb to its rooftop, and interact with Spider-Man. Use the BUY option to hire him with gold bars.

Spider-Man NPC spawn location at The Battlewoods

Spider-Man appears exclusively at The Battlewoods POI. He does not roam or rotate between areas, so this is the only place you need to check.

Within the POI, he perches on the rooftop of the easternmost building, the one closest to the main road running past the area. The correct building is easy to confirm because it has visible spiderwebs draped along its sides. If you don’t see webbing on the structure, you’re at the wrong building.

How to find Spider-Man in a match

Queue into a Fortnite Battle Royale match. Solo works fine and keeps the rooftop clear of teammates.

Set your drop for The Battlewoods and glide in toward the eastern edge of the POI, near the road.

Pick out the building on the right (east) side with spiderwebs on it. This is the one Spider-Man is tied to.

Climb or build up to the rooftop and walk up to the NPC to interact. You’ll see his dialogue and the hire prompt appear.

Hiring Spider-Man with gold bars

Once you’re next to him, the interaction menu shows a BUY option. Selecting it recruits Spider-Man as a hired follower, paid for with gold bars you’ve collected during the match. He’ll then follow you and fight alongside you.

You’ll know the hire worked when he joins you as a companion after the purchase. If the BUY option is greyed out or won’t confirm, you don’t have enough gold bars yet, so grab more from chests, eliminations, or by searching around the POI before returning.

Spider-Man NPC dialogue

When you approach him, Spider-Man delivers a few in-character lines that confirm you’ve found the right NPC:

“Just call me your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.”
“With great power comes great responsibility, alright?”
“I promise, I have the regular human number of eyes.”

Because the spawn is fixed, the fastest routine is to drop straight onto the webbed building at The Battlewoods, save enough gold bars to cover the hire, and pull him along as backup for the rest of the match.
