The Autumn season of the Welcome to Japan Festival Playlist is now live in Forza Horizon 6, and it brings a fresh Treasure Hunt hidden in the Minamino region.
The hunt works the same way as before: the game hands you a photo clue and asks you to match it to a spot on the map. This week the picture points to the only golf course in the game, which makes it one of the easier chests to track down.
Minamino Region Treasure Hunt chest location
The Minamino region sits to the north and northeast of Tokyo City, and the chest is on the golf course in the middle of it. The quickest route is to fast travel to a nearby race event you have likely already unlocked, such as the Airfield Trail dirt race or the Naruo Cross Country Circuit, both of which drop you close to the course.

From there, head onto the course and look for the hairpin on the dirt road near its northern end. The chest is parked at the top of a hill, right beside a golf flag. There is also a department store next to the course, so cutting past that building leads straight to the spot.
How to open the chest and what you earn
Unlike a Treasure Car or a Barn Find, you do not collect this chest by hand or sit through a cutscene. Just drive through it, the same way you smash Mascots or Horizon XP boards, and the reward is yours.

Breaking the chest pays out 100,000 Credits along with Festival points toward this season's rewards. Credits remain the core currency in the game, used for buying cars and houses, upgrades, and customization, so the payout is a quick boost early in the week.
Autumn season rewards and timing
This week's playlist cars are tied to point milestones, with one more exclusive reward, the Mazda Furai, sitting at the top of the season track. The two earnable cars are:
| Car | Points needed |
|---|---|
| Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec 1997 | 15 |
| Honda CR-X SiR 1991 | 30 |
The Autumn rotation began on May 28, when the previous Summer chest in the Ohtani region was retired. The next change is set for June 11, when this Minamino chest is replaced by a new Treasure Hunt in Tokyo City, so there is a clear window to grab it before the map shifts again.
