The West Incursion Zone holds two Instant Photos for the Freeze Frame quest, and each one points to a hidden paranatural camera that freezes time in front of it. Both cameras sit on elevated perches, and both must be approached from behind so their flash never catches you. Closing each lid unfreezes the local anomaly and marks the photo complete.
Quick answer: Unlock the Shift ability, grab both Instant Photos inside the House of Mirrors, then flank each camera from the rear and press interact to Shut Camera Lid. One camera is on a window-washing platform near the Museum of Curiosities; the other sits behind the Parking Garage.
Requirements before you start
The Shift ability, unlocked by completing ‘The Incursion Fault’ mission. Both cameras are out of reach without it.
Both Instant Photos from inside the House of Mirrors, used to work out where each camera is hidden.
An understanding of the freeze rule: walking into a camera’s forward field of view captures you in a photo and resets you back to street or roof level.
Collect both Instant Photos in the House of Mirrors
Head into the House of Mirrors FBC base and check the tables inside the office rooms. One Instant Photo rests on a counter, and the second sits on a conference table in an adjoining room. Open the Key Items menu to inspect each one.
The first photo shows a window-washing platform, which points you toward the Museum of Curiosities. The second photo shows a view taken from a suspended platform between skyscrapers, which corresponds to the camera behind the Parking Garage.

Camera 1: Window-washing platform near the Museum of Curiosities
From the House of Mirrors, take the main road south until it ends near the Museum of Curiosities and the West Supply Route Station. Continue along the street to its terminus.
Enter the alley at the street’s end, where cars hover and red distortion ripples through the space. The warped walls here form a route upward.

Activate Shift to propel yourself upward along the wall structure. Loop around to the suspended window-cleaning lift and touch down behind the tripod, staying away from the lens at the front.
Coming onto the platform from its front sets off the freeze effect and sends you back down to the street. Circle around behind the camera before interacting.
Locate the slim vertical opening between the brick walls, where pigeons are suspended in mid-air. Drop onto the platform behind the camera tripod, clear of the beam projecting forward.
Press interact to Shut Camera Lid. The frozen pigeons resume their flight, confirming the anomaly has cleared.
Rewards and how to confirm both cameras are done
Closing each lid releases the surrounding area from the freeze, progresses Freeze Frame, and grants +1 Undefined Reading and +1 Completed Instant Photo. Check the Key Items section in your inventory to confirm the capture: completed photos show a large green checkmark, and the quest tracker refreshes in the top-left HUD.
Once both West Incursion Zone lids are shut, the two photos here are cleared for the ongoing quest, which continues into other zones and even past the main credits. Any photos left uncollected can reappear in Dylan’s apartment after the story wraps up.
