Updated your iPhone 6, 6 Plus and iPhone 5s to iOS 12? Great. But you won’t get one of the iOS 12’s coolest feature — Measure app. The iPhone 6, 6 Plus and iPhone 5S do not have the hardware required for the Measure app to work accurately, and so these aren’t getting the app.
If you go looking for Measure app on the App Store, you will see the following message on screen:
“This app requires specific features not available on this device.”

The iOS 12 Measure is compatible with the following iPhone models only:
- iPhone SE
- iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus
- iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus
- iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus
- iPhone X
- iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max
- iPhone XR
