The opening banners of Genshin Impact Version 7.0 put two very different five-stars in front of you. Odette is the debut character of Snezhnaya and a Cryo support built around the new Stellar reaction system, while Arlecchino returns as a proven on-field Pyro damage dealer. Both are worth having, but they solve different problems, so the right pull comes down to what your roster is missing.
Quick answer: For most accounts, Odette is the higher-value pull in 7.0 because Stellar reactions anchor the current endgame meta and her value keeps climbing as more Stellar characters arrive. Pull Arlecchino instead only if you want her specifically or still lack a strong five-star Pyro DPS.

Phase 1 banner lineup
Both characters share the Phase 1 window of Version 7.0, which runs from August 12 through September 1, 2026. That means you are choosing between them with the same pool of wishes, so it helps to see their roles side by side before committing.
| Character | Element / Weapon | Role | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Odette | Cryo / Sword | Off-field Stellar support | Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl teams |
| Arlecchino | Pyro / Polearm | On-field DPS | Accounts needing a Pyro carry |

Add to Google Preferences →Odette pull value: the first Stellar support
Odette is the first playable character from Snezhnaya and the first unit built specifically to power Stellar reactions. She is an off-field Cryo support who enables both Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl, letting her slot into either flavor of Stellar team depending on the rest of your lineup.
Her strength is twofold. She applies Cryo off-field while adding a meaningful chunk of her own damage, and her passive buffs the Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl reactions for the whole party. Because Stellar is set to define endgame content across the 7.x patches, a dedicated enabler like Odette becomes more valuable over time rather than less, especially as more Stellar characters release.
The catch is specialization. Her Cryo application is on the slow side, so she is not a reliable general-purpose reaction trigger, and her Elemental Burst mostly benefits herself. If you have no interest in building Stellar teams, most of what makes her strong stops mattering. Note that she has a solid craftable weapon option, so you do not need to chase her signature to get her working.
Arlecchino pull value: a standalone Pyro carry
Arlecchino is an on-field Pyro DPS whose kit runs on the Bond of Life mechanic. She absorbs Blood-Debt marks to enter an enhanced state, converting her Normal Attacks into fast, Pyro-infused hits that carry most of her damage. That quick playstyle also triggers Elemental reactions constantly, which is why she works across Vaporize, Melt, and Overload compositions depending on who else you own.
She is a self-sufficient, single-target carry who only really asks for buffers and a shielder. Because she cannot be healed while her Bond of Life is active, a shielder like Zhongli keeps her comfortable, and her C1 further reduces the sting of interruptions. She has had several reruns, so she is a familiar quantity rather than a new one.
Her value drops in two situations. If you already own Mavuika, Arlecchino’s damage output sits noticeably below hers, and more broadly, Arlecchino sits entirely outside the Stellar system that the Snezhnaya meta is built around. She remains one of the strongest Pyro carries in the game, but she does not push you into what is new.
Which one should you pull?
Match the pull to the gap in your account rather than picking the “stronger” character in a vacuum. Use the account type that describes you.
| Your situation | Recommended pull |
|---|---|
| You want to build Stellar teams throughout 7.x | Odette |
| You lack a strong five-star Pyro DPS | Arlecchino |
| You already run Mavuika or another invested Pyro carry | Odette (or save) |
| You are pulling for a favorite | Either, personal preference wins once teams are covered |
Odette is the better all-around pull in Version 7.0. Stellar reactions look set to be the core of Snezhnaya’s endgame content, and as the first dedicated Stellar support, her ceiling only rises as the roster of Stellar characters grows. Arlecchino is still an excellent Pyro hypercarry and a clean second chance if you missed her, but she is not relevant to the Stellar meta. Whichever way you lean, commit your wishes to one target instead of splitting them, since a guaranteed unit you can actually use beats an early copy of one you did not plan for.
