Genshin Impact 7.1: Vodyanitsa vs Sandrone Team DPS on a Level 100 Ruin Guard

The Vodyanitsa squad peaks past 617,000 DPS while the Sandrone squad holds above 304,000 in a controlled Floor 12 damage test.

The Vodyanitsa squad peaks past 617,000 DPS while the Sandrone squad holds above 304,000 in a controlled Floor 12 damage test.

After clearing Floor 12 of the Spiral Abyss for a full 9 out of 9 stars, two maxed-out four-character teams step into a training arena to measure raw output against a Level 100 Ruin Guard dummy. One team is built around the Hydro support Vodyanitsa, the other around Sandrone, and each runs a continuous rotation while the game tracks live DPS, total damage, and elapsed time.

Quick answer: The Vodyanitsa team peaks at 617,437 DPS over 57.33 seconds, while the Sandrone team sustains 304,325 DPS over 66.75 seconds against the same Level 100 Ruin Guard.

The run uses a custom Spiral Abyss environment with private-server character builds and modified kits, so these figures reflect an idealized test rather than standard live-server play.

DPS benchmark results side by side

Both teams face the identical target and record their numbers at the end of the rotation. The Vodyanitsa team roughly doubles the Sandrone team’s sustained DPS, but the Sandrone team lands the single largest hit of the two runs.

Alyosha, Diona, Odette, Sandrone304,32520,313,35666.75 s

The strongest recorded hits tell a different story. The Vodyanitsa team’s biggest single strike reaches 845,898, while the Sandrone team’s biggest lands at 1,493,174. Its lower sustained DPS comes from a slower, burst-heavy rhythm rather than weak individual hits.

Vodyanitsa team: 617,437 DPS

This squad pairs the Hydro support Vodyanitsa with Kamisato Ayato as the on-field carry, backed by Durin and Nicole. During the Floor 12 run it handles the first halves, using Vodyanitsa’s resistance shred to amplify Ayato’s Hydro damage against targets like the Battle-Hardened Chimeric Burrowbeast.

The same rotation carries through the later first halves, including the Battle-Hardened Domovoy Sculptor in Chamber 3, where distance control keeps the on-field carry safe.

In the training arena, the team enters against a single Level 100 Ruin Guard and runs its rotation without pause. The tracker climbs to a peak of 617,437 DPS and totals 35,397,026 damage across 57.33 seconds, with its strongest single hit reaching 845,898.

Sandrone team: 304,325 DPS

The second team combines Alyosha, Diona, Odette, and Sandrone, mixing Cryo, Electro, and Physical damage. In the Floor 12 run it takes every second half, where multiple waves reward area coverage over single-target burst, including the Battle-Hardened Fireblade Shock Trooper.

It also handles the Chamber 2 second half, ending on the Lord of the Hidden Depths: Whisperer of Nightmares before the arena test.

Against the Level 100 Ruin Guard the team’s rotation reaches a peak of 304,325 DPS and 20,313,356 total damage over 66.75 seconds. Its strongest single hit is 1,493,174, the highest single strike of either team despite the lower sustained figure.

The Level 100 Ruin Guard test target

Both benchmarks use the same dummy so the numbers stay comparable. The Ruin Guard carries flat 10% resistance to every element and a heavy 70% Physical resistance, which explains why physical-leaning damage lands harder as burst but struggles to keep sustained DPS high.

Character builds used in the test

Each character runs a full weapon and four-piece artifact setup. The Total CRIT Value column reflects combined crit stats from the build sheets shown after the run.

CharacterWeapon4-piece setCRIT Value
Vodyanitsa (Lv. 90)Hymn of the Maestrom R3Tenacity of the Millelith108.9

Odette (Lv. 90)Light of Foliar Incision R1Disenchantment in Deep Shadow145.5
Sandrone (Lv. 90)A Thousand Blazing Suns R2Disenchantment in Deep Shadow160.1

The gap between the two teams comes down to rhythm. Ayato’s on-field Hydro carry keeps damage streaming continuously against the Ruin Guard, which favors sustained DPS, while the Sandrone team leans on larger, spaced-out hits that peak higher per strike but leave more downtime between them.
