Vesna is a 5-star Anemo Sword character from Snezhnaya, and almost everything she needs to reach Level 90 and hit maxed talents is already sitting in the region’s overworld, domains, and bosses. The one exception is her boss drop, which comes from a world boss tied to Version 7.1. Line up the rest ahead of time and you can ascend her, raise her talents, and put her on a team the moment you pull her.

Where to farm each material
Vayuda Turquoise gems
Any Anemo weekly or field boss drops the Vayuda Turquoise set, and higher tiers can be crafted from lower ones at the Alchemy bench. Sources include the Anemo Hypostasis, Maguu Kenki, Setekh Wenut, Solitary Suanni, Icewind Suite, Chimeric Winged Lion, Tenebrous Papilla, the Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network, Stormterror Dvalin, and the Scaramouche fight. If you fall short, use Dust of Azoth to convert gems from other elements.
Golden Fern
Golden Fern is Vesna’s Snezhnaya local specialty and grows in large clusters. The densest pockets are around Rankova Zorya, throughout Flamefeather Valley, and near the river just south of the Immortal Construct boss. Nodes respawn every 48 hours, and you can also grow it in a Serenitea Pot Jade Field. Expect six to seven full sweeps to reach 168 if you do not garden.
Ethereal Glimmershard, Crystal, and Crystalscale Stone
All three Ethereal drops come from the Fae of the Crystalline Flesh scattered across Snezhnaya, with the Frost Fae being a reliable target. One Ethereal Crystal is crafted from three Glimmershards plus 25 Mora, and one Ethereal Crystalscale Stone from three Crystals plus 25 Mora. Farm these on the same route as your Golden Fern collection.
Glory talent books
Teachings, Guide, and Philosophies of Glory drop from the Relics of the Fallen Grace domain in the Fellfrost Peak region of Snezhnaya, open on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. You can craft higher tiers from lower ones at the Alchemy bench when you have a surplus.
Profaned Sprout
Profaned Sprout drops from the Exalted Master of the Heretical Path (Il Dottore) weekly boss at Level 70 or higher, in the Binding Field of Universal Nirvana in Sumeru. It can also be made through alchemy using either Counterfeit Resin and Dream Solvent, or another Profaned Sprout and Dream Solvent. Because it is weekly-gated, start clearing this fight early to build toward the 18 you need for a triple crown.
Vagabond’s Cracked Armor
This is the one item you cannot gather ahead of Version 7.1. All 46 pieces drop from the Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow, the Snezhnaya world boss added in 7.1. Once the update is live, prioritize this fight with condensed resin to finish her ascension quickly.
Crown of Insight
Crowns of Insight are needed only to push a talent from Level 9 to Level 10. You earn them from offering systems such as Tona’s Flame and the Fountain of Lucine, from Paimon’s Bargains, and occasionally as limited-time event rewards. Save them for the talents you actually plan to max.
What to gather first
Prioritize materials controlled by weekly limits or lengthy respawns. Use every reset to defeat the Il Dottore weekly boss for Profaned Sprout, then search Rankova Zorya and Flamefeather Valley for Golden Fern while its nodes recover. Spend resin as available to fill out the Fae drops, Vayuda Turquoise, and Glory books.

You will know the plan is complete when Vesna sits at Level 90 with each talent reading Lv. 10 in her character screen. With everything else banked, the only outstanding task after 7.1 arrives is grinding the Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow for her armor drops.
Beyond the Chrysalis signature sword materials
If you plan to pair Vesna with her 5-star signature sword, Beyond the Chrysalis, you will need a separate stack of weapon materials to take it to Level 90. The Pale Star Army items come from the Snezhnaya weapon domain, Scars of Cursed Obsession, open on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday. The Chimeric drops come from Aberrant Chimeric Monsters, and the Life materials drop from Wildwood Leshy enemies across the region.

Farm the sword materials ahead of time only when you intend to pull on the weapon banner. For Vesna’s first couple of weeks, a properly refined event blade with 4-star rarity is more than sufficient.
Farm materials before artifacts
Character level and talents are guaranteed upgrades, while artifacts are heavily RNG-dependent. Bank Vesna’s ascension and talent materials first so her stats and multipliers are locked in, then spend the rest of your resin chasing the Scarlet Proof set, which boosts Stellar-Swirl damage and Crit Rate to match her kit. Doing it in that order means Vesna is combat-ready on day one, with artifact refinement as the long tail.
