Genshin Impact: How to Solve the Elegant Snegurochka Statue Puzzle

The Misaligned Statues challenge sits inside the House of Hesperides in Genshin Impact, where two Snegurochka Statues need to be turned so each one lines up with a specific painting. Get both facing the right artwork and the world quest closes out with a reward chest.

Quick answer: Read the note on each Elegant Snegurochka Statue, then rotate one to face the pine tree painting on the wall and the other to face the white birch painting on the floor beside the guardrail. Press Stop when each statue reaches the correct angle.

Where the Snegurochka Statues are and how to reach them

Both statues stand on floor F2 of the House of Hesperides, the Mountain Mansion. This floor opens up once you obtain the Invitation to the “Ritual,” which happens ahead of the Hesperides of Love and Hate World quest. Until you have that invitation, the area stays locked and the puzzle cannot be started.

Once you are inside F2, look for the two Elegant Snegurochka Statues placed in the room. Each carries its own note with a short riddle, and each riddle points to a different painting nearby. You solve both to complete the Misaligned Statues quest.

Solve the Elegant Snegurochka Statue puzzle

Walk up to an Elegant Snegurochka Statue and select the Read option to see the note attached to it. The text describes where the statue wants to “transform and dwell,” which is the clue for which painting it should face.

Match the riddle to its painting. One note reads, “I shall walk into the forest depths, and in those depths, I shall transform and dwell amongst the green pines,” which points to the painting of pine trees on the wall. The other reads, “I shall walk into the forest depths, and in those depths, I shall transform and stand amongst the white birches,” which points to the white birch painting on the floor next to the guardrail.

Press Rotate and let the statue turn. When it lines up with the correct painting, press Stop right away. If you miss the moment, the statue keeps spinning and you have to wait for it to circle all the way back around before you can stop it in the right spot.

Repeat the same read-then-rotate process on the second statue so it faces its matching painting. Both statues must be aligned at the same time for the puzzle to register.

How to confirm the puzzle is complete

When both statues are pointed at the correct paintings, the Misaligned Statues quest finishes and an Exquisite chest appears. Open it to collect the rewards, which include Adventure EXP, character level-up materials, and Primogems.

Note: If nothing happens, one statue is likely stopped at the wrong angle. Re-read its note, press Rotate again, and stop it only when it clearly faces its painting.
